Yeah i do think its a bit of a bug with how it recognizes the forge minions but its not too game breaking "yet" to be fixed. The thing is that it is too easy to replicate and abuse.

This also has an interaction with Rat, if rat hits the mirage it won’t pull the card

im not really sure but there aren't that many good tradable cards other than the viper. But i am curious as well to see if that works.
