I loved this episode! I love how they are showing more Nathan and Allie family stuff. I often wondered why they hadn't showed it yet. I can't wait to see what happens next!

I loved the acting and this heart-wrenching scene. My older brother/sister were adopted (twins). My sister was Allie's age when she started asking about her birth parents. Those in the comments who think Allie is being selfish or ungrateful don't understand. Once my siblings met the bio parents (they lived in 2 different states), it drew them closer to the family they always knew. They were so grateful to have been grafted into the family. They were "chosen". When Allie meets her deadbeat dad, this will draw her closer to Nathan, and she will be forever grateful for who she has.

This was heartbreaking but so good!! Allie doesn't know the whole truth and is lashing out because she doesn't understand. Nathan has always been there for her and is trying to protect her. They'll be even stronger together once they overcome this

My heart broke for both of them... the actors and writers did an excellent job with this storyline. I can't wait until next week watching them heal as a family.

Superb acting by these two, and a long overdue storyline addressing Allie's ne'er do well birth father!

Kevin and Jaeda did an amazing acting job! I felt both Allie and Nathan's pain and struggles with Allie wanting to know more about her birth father and meet him. I felt like I was about to cry when Allie called Nathan, uncle Nathan.😢 Keep the deep, emotional episodes coming When Calls the Heart. They are the best!

He still didn’t tell her the whole truth though. He left out some key details. I know Nathan was trying to spare her, but I feel like if Nathan would have been completely honest, Allie wouldn’t be trying to go see Dylan. I feel like her interaction with Dylan will not go well. Allie will get her heart broken. Thankfully we’ll have a family dinner to help heal the hurt!
@brianshively81687 ай бұрын
I'm not sure she would have accepted the whole truth! I think Dylan will refuse to see her, and that will be a heartbreaking lesson for Allie about who her biological father really is.

Nathan with his adoptive daughter- birth niece, Allie. It was heart breaking 💔 when Allie called Nathan, "uncle Nathan" when Allie has been calling her adotive dad-birth uncle "dad" since season 9. 😢 But this scene was S11, episode 9 by end of episode 10 Allie learned it was her uncle Nathan who has always been there for her. Allie learned that "uncle Nathan" was the man who has stood by her always & raised her since she was 4 years old when her birth mom/Nathan's sister died & that her adotive father is her "dad." Nathan has the heart of a father! ❤

I am always so heartbroken when the writers give Nathan such emotionally difficult storylines. Nathan's life would be so empty without Allie Nathan has sacrificed so much for Allie. This maybe the final separation of Nathan and Allie ? Allie has never really appreciated Nathan's love and devotion
@lindajanke61947 ай бұрын
I think Allie appreciated Nathan's care and love, but as a child, was secure enough to take it for granted. It will be a few years before she realizes how extraordinary it was, for a man his age, to take on a four year old. It should make Elizabeth comfortable that Nathan "chose" to be a father and will most likely have no problem choosing to be Jack's father.

Not sure how I feel about this twist to the Nathan and Allie storyline. Feel sympathy for Nathan and think Allie is becoming selfish and conniving. Loved the rest of the scenes.

She's just a teenager. Give her a break. Her brain isn't fully developed yet so she only understands at her own level.
@bobandbeth97 ай бұрын
Do you know much about what it is like for someone who has been adopted? Because this story was relatable and realistic. Allie is being neither selfish nor conniving. She is behaving like a teenager who has questions about her birth parent; she wonders why she was abandoned. Next week's episode will show healing, restoration, and understanding.
@MaryGallo-e8f7 ай бұрын
As a matter of fact I do know about adoption and also teenagers. I have personally experienced both. I also know that this is just a show, and still enjoy watching it. This is why my feelings about the Nathan and Allie scenes were ambivalent.

When Allie says “he’s my family” and Nathan says “l’m your family”, my heart just dropped for him. How much more can this man take. He is so loving and has the biggest heart; I am so happy Elizabeth is there for him this time to help and he is not alone❤❤❤❤❤❤

Nathan would not give his Dad the benefit of the doubt. He repeats history by not allowing his daughter to meet her Dad.

I wish they didn’t do the interviews and remember when parts during the commercial breaks ,,like a good book or movie you like to get lost in it ,,I get really involved in the show and then they remind you it’s only acting ,,it kind of takes something away from the show
@lindamartinez70067 ай бұрын
No the interviews are so good . People need to wake up to the fact they only acting . People get over emotional with romances and things . It’s acting . Nathan Kevin is getting married soon and Erin E. Is with the guy who might marry and Rosemary and Lee both have married lives real married lives . Even though they are the perfect couple on here . I remember when the preacher in seventh heaven was accused of molesting a teen girl and even admitted he did it and people said no he didn’t he is the nicest family man and a preacher . Alert he is not a preacher and that is a pretend family and he is not nice . Little house on the prairie Paw is not nice either . They all says he was hard to work with and had a bad temper but no he is paw and is so perfect. Yes it is good entertainment but these people are not in love with each other and they do not live in that time frame either . People go to pieces over this pretend show . Even hats Lucas or hate Nathan . Two guys just acting or hate Elizabeth . Just crazy . I hope these interviews keep a reality check . It’s acting and they get paid . They are nothing at all like their pretend characters . But I love the show .

@@lindamartinez7006 I understand what your saying ,,but it’s like getting lost in a good book or a movie that gives you a break and entertains you for a while ,,I’m just saying the interviews take away from that ,,,we are all aware it’s fiction ,,but I respect your point of view ❣️
