After 5 weeks: *Apollos* : The owners of the AAF. It will be a big shocker if they don't win the AAF championship. *Commanders* and *Fleet* : They're good... but they're capable of nearly choking a 26-points lead or losing to the Express. *Iron* and *Hotshots* : They fooled us. They make us believe they were good, now they're been exposed. *Stallions* and *Legends* : They're bad, but they aren't as bad as... *Express* : They thought the Hack could be their QB. Your honor, I rest my case.

Kind of feel bad for the Express. They got stood up at the last minute by their actual intended quarterback. Hackenberg was a desperation stopgap. Anyway, it's literally year one. I'm not gonna go down too hard on any of the teams that are having first year issues considering that everyone is assembling their entire roster from scratch.

Well i have noticed a league wide problem with wide receivers being less than willing to take a hit or put themselves in danger for the ball. Lot of picks where the wr never even raises his arms. I have seen this in all the games and all the teams. Pretty good football over all. some times feels like preseason nfl style. But also some teams are pretty dynamic and interesting. good runners and the defenses look like nfl also.

Anyone who still harbors NFL dreams isn't going to sell out and risk injury in the AAF. If the league sticks around and becomes prestigious in its own right you might see players sell out more to make the plays. As it is I'm unsurprised some of these guys won't go 100%

I am 60 and have seen a lot of the greats play. I hope they dont use this as a nfl farm to steal the bet away. Now having said that, i assume that the players may want that to be the case. My seahawks are always adding great walkons and will play them over draft choices. But Pete always looks at the effort given. Have luck and be safe.

this turned out to be a really good game... thanks for the highlights. Its going to be really hard watching NFL with all the kickoffs, PATs and penalties... and the resulting TV commercial breaks. AAF I think has done a great job eliminating all the dragging-slow-boring aspects of the game.
