If any other team had drafted him it would be praised to the football gods and back. Pat Kirwan on Sirius xm had nothing glowing to say about him but turned around and praised every other qb in round 1. He made Daniel’s out to be the second coming of Christ. Maybe you should be an NFL team GM. It’s true that talent is necessary, but it’s no guarantee of success. Plain old luck plays a part. Fitting in with the team personality-wise, personnel-wise, coaching and management-wise are all necessary elements. Also, staying healthy and getting some lucky breaks during a season can be critical in building the momentum to individual success in the League. But there’s no doubt in my mind he has the talent and skills to make it.
