Even as a lifelong Ravens fan, I’ve grown into quite a fan of him over the past couple of years and he actually seems like a pretty chill dude. Regardless of what may or may not have been said leading up to it, using a helmet as a weapon is inexcusable and it’s a stain on his career that’ll never be forgotten.

10:47 Watch the replay on Prater’s kick of the front crossbar. The replay makes it look like the ball lunges towards the cross bar at the very end. Almost looks like a magnet or something pulls it in. It definitely changes trajectory before it approaches the crossbar. 10:39. Even on the first replay, you can see the ball change direction right before it hits. Exact same timing.

There was a flag pole in fair territory in Minute Maid Park at one time. Richie Sexson with the Brewers hit a 450’ single (or maybe it was a double) because he struck the flag pole. So putting a man in the end zone for really long field goal attempts is usually worth something, Sometimes field position, and sometimes for points. But still really rare 100+ yard return for points is tough.
