And btw, i made this comment before seeing Holcomb who is even worse, but there seems to be a lot of golfers talking to their ball. It is annoying and they use the same little buzz words and buzz phrases. "Be tha club, be tha number, bite, grow teeth, sit down, roll over, go for a walk, heel, who's a good boy, where is your squeaky toy, go get it, good boy, stop licking your balls, etc"

Absolutely, I love his swing here too. He turned pro after the 2020 Masters where he played along Tiger the first two rounds an eventually became the low am. Unfortunately he has somewhat changed his swing since 2019. It's shorter and god knows what else. The bottom line is that he has pulled out of the 2021 Genesis after battling a hip injury for weeks now :-/

@@bigggaming1996 I would say I'm a decent player as well who understands a thing or two about the game, and I see where you are coming from. I think the guy misspoke when he said crown greens... He meant clown greens. USGA never disappoints with stupid course setups. You shouldn't haveb to worry about putting it off the green if a putt wonders a few feet by.

Next year, get your handicap index low enough to enter usga amateur. Play well enough to get through the qualifiers, then play great to qualify for the matchplay. Then beat everyone, sounds elementary

@johnkurtz7705
@johnkurtz7705 5 жыл бұрын
If saying you expect better play, and that their scores were in the 80s, I tend to think that is judging them. Golf looks easy on tv and at tour events. I don't think that you have to be able to play great to talk about them or anything else, just that the best 64 amateur players in the world made the match play. And they were down to the last 4, great playing. Matchplay is different from stroke play. You can tie an hole with birds or doubles. The finalists get a trip to the master's. Might be a bit of pressure. Although neither player was at his best, they definitely tried every hole, all you can ask.
