they have been doing this now for at least the last 2 Seasons. worst Offender is their blue-eyed Wonder Lock who constantly does not roll away. then, when he finally does he doesn't fall back. instead he moves across the opponent's side of the Ruck interfering with Play. then engaging in the Rucks from the side, and as he gets away with it he now more often engages from the opponent's side of the Ruck ! and don't even get started on the constant Offsides play of the Irish Backline. and how about taking out the attacking Player without a Ball preventing that attacking Player from joining his Side's Ruck !

As an Australian I respect Ireland for their rise to power, but I do feel like they have a false sense of reality when it comes to world rankings. They call themselves number one, but in my opinion if you're not playing the All Blacks & Springboks 2-3 times a year (each) then you can't really call yourself the best. The six nations is a tough tournament, and the north teams can be really good, but NZ & SA have been one & two basically forever and if you can't consistently beat them then you aren't the best in the world. I understand the teams just don't meet that often, but its funny when the north think they're the best in the world yet only play NZ, SA like once a year max. 2023 world cup was a prime example of the north claiming they were the best teams in the world, France had home ground advantage and were looking the best they've ever looked, with apparently the best player in the world 'Dupont'. And Ireland were the best they'd ever been too, yet when it really mattered NZ & SA just came in and beat them, gave them the one-two punch, and its the same this year. The North has a big mouth, and the world ranking chart really doesn't mean anything when you don't play NZ, SA every year.

To be fair SA have only beaten them once in like 8 years and that was this year their last win was 2016 only NZ cause them problems.
@wallywest9257Күн бұрын
@@Lawless2401 In there last 10 matches Ireland has won 6, which is good and give credit where credit is due, but that's over the course of 12 years. My point is that on average these two teams meet less than once a year (mathematically) and most times it's SA doing their end of year tour and playing them once in Dublin. Ireland came to SA this year and it was a draw 1-1 which makes sense since they're both top 3 teams, but then they went on to be beaten by NZ, so to say they're number one without having any consistent games against NZ, SA is a bit of a joke.

Thank you! I've made similar comments above and no one else has mentioned it until you; Nic Berry CONSTANTLY stood in the way. For both teams but especially NZ. That's why Ratima had so many crappy passes, he had to take that extra second as Nic Berry was in the way.

@kavelenko65013 күн бұрын
That's the difference when you have to play a top side, you gotta make less mistakes than the ABs otherwise they will hurt you. Wasn't a thrashing at all but they contained the Irish offence through most of the game. You can only play what the other team lets you play, that's why I respect the England team they usually are so tough to get through past. Anyway on to the next test, who's next?

Been a lot of chat floating around that Dmac isn’t up for the 10 jersey. Every single point today came through his boot or through his hands. He saw we had space out of the wing and threw a huge cut out pass to get us that try, great vision. Glad he got man of the match but then again who else even came close?

He played well in this game and deserves his flowers for it. But that doesn't exclude him from his disappointing performances earlier in the year that cost us games . I'd like it if people just said what it is when players play . If they play good say it like it is but if they play terrible the same goes they shouldn't all of a sudden become a protected species .

I’ve never supported the ABs as much as last night (Bok supporter). Ireland were woeful (worst they’ve played in a decade). ABs were clever and surprisingly willing to grind out a win and take their penalties rather than always going for the try. A humble, mature performance. And they did it missing some key players. Kudos.

@Natedawg38 unfortunately highly unlikely... not with Scott Razor Robertson in charged of this organisation. Fazz needs to step down as head coach. Joe Schmidt left few notes on Ireland strength. Jason Ryan's and Razor already knew what to do there. Obviously Ireland are very good and dominants at the breakdown. Getting turnover on their opponents on 3rd or 4th phases? That where Ireland are dangerous on the attacking. Unfortunately Razor EXPOSED Andy Farrell lol

All Blacks fan, so no complaints on final score - but when NZ scores better than half their points on penalties, it is another example of Referees, rather than teams of rugby players, deciding the contest. Union Rugby is falling into the TMO / 'don't get hurt' trap, and is rapidly becoming an unenjoyable mess to watch. Fix it or lose it.

What on Earth are you crying about ? The best teams in the world have historically had a sniper as their kicker. DC isn't regarded as the GOAT for nothing !!! This is TEST Rugby you take whats on the table and build scoreboard pressure. Scoreboard pressure forces teams to take risks and then mistakes happen and the game opens up into free flowing rugby.
