Wales fan here and let’s get it straight, we got beat, schooled and outclassed. Clearest moment for me was commentary saying “Wales trying the offload and the receiver wasn’t expecting the pass”. Meanwhile NZ props, 40 metres from the play, facing the opposite direction, laying on the floor with three bodies on top are saying “Better get up in case Barrett passes to me”. Next level skills, awareness and just a true pleasure to watch. Remember Nigel Owens lecturing players on the football stadium being down the road if they wanted to dive about. Today he would have been calling NZ over and reminding them they were supposed to be playing rugby, not basketball!!!

Ardie plays better at 8, not because he isn't a great 7 but he add more dynamism to the no 8, massive workrate and let other workhorse at 7 to be played. Bring more balance to the loose forward. I genuinely believe he is way better at 8 for the All Blacks than at 7. Let Papali'i and Cane focus at 7 as to bring the extra bit of defensive mongrel where Savea can focus more on attack. Akira, Jacobson and Blackadder at 6. Solid stuff! Anyway, Papali'i is such an underrated player, tireless in defence and attack, not just that, he also gives extra lineout option as well.

@davidanderson40912 жыл бұрын
Sevu is much more than just a battler... he doesn't need to be _given_ opportunities, he *creates* them through his sheer hard working, never-give-up attitude. Just look at his try... chases the fuck out out of the kick through by Jordie, beats the Welsh defender to the ball as he goes to ground... pops up the pass to a teammate, then gets his arse off the ground so quick he's able to be there in support of that teammate for the return pass... then flicks the ball outside to another teammate, and is still in support for that return pass to out-sprint the defence and score. Holy snappin' duckshit Batman!!! That one's right up there with the some of the best tries you'll ever see.

Heck yeah I agree, I mean is he supposed to crawl under and tackle him lol if head first the ball runner should be at fault, seen it happening to often now 👍🏽

two tries from Beauden Barrett after he intercepts passes demonstrating how well Beauden is able to read the game. Outstanding performance from Beauden. Interestingly Fozzy didn't substitute Beauden Barrett in the second half to give Richie Mo unga some game practice.

Congratulations to Beauden Barrett on his 100th cap! Still remember watching you come on in 2012 when we thrashed the Irish. Wales are playing Springboks next week, then it's Fiji, and then it's the Wallabies. All I can say to our Welsh friends is good luck lads :D.

As a Welshman it is bloody depressing watching this every year. The first game I watched against NZ was in 1978 when we lost by a point and it’s been downhill ever since. We’re not at the races. We simply do not believe it’s possible. NZ are in a completely different league to Wales. We raise our game for England and France and then play like scared schoolboys against the big boys from the Southern Hemisphere.

Kiwi here. Not gonna lie - there were a few calls made by the ref against Wales that were questionable. For example, that deliberate knock down should’ve been carded all day long. And so many other calls. Apart from that, I remember Justin Marshall saying that they (the Welsh) were kicking penalties to get within 14 points so that they could catch up and take the lead if they scored two converted tries. Only thing is, they didn’t. When you play against teams like the ABs, you’ve gotta back yourself and kick for the line to try and get that scoreboard ticking. Maybe they weren’t confident with that idk (welsh lineouts were atrocious too) but if you give our boys too much respect, they will take it and they won’t give it back and they will punish you for it. The boys smelt blood and settled in to the game with comfort. Nevertheless, we love playing the Welsh.

Don't forget bro you had a lot of players out and a few calls go the wrong way, Beaudens knock on was a yellow all day. Having said that, once the boys get into their rhythm its a daunting task to retaliate.

Boys v men . The welsh are a million miles away from getting a win against the blacks. The set pieces are a joke for this level and the fitness level is nowhere near good enough.

AB's supporter here, Wales is my favourite team in the Northern hemisphere. You guys have a lot of passion & pride for the game and do pretty good in all tournaments. Difficult to measure yourself against a confident AB's team. Hugh respect to your team.
