Who was your player of the game for the All Blacks XV?
@ZacaryquackАй бұрын
Holland first kirifi second and plummer third, Hollands sixty minutes was very impressive great Handling skills, defense, and high work rate, man of the match for a reason, kirifi similar to Holland but came up with a big turnover when Münster had momentum going their way, plummer controlled the game well good decisions made and a nice intercept try at the end to put the nail in the coffin.

@RealLimerickman29 күн бұрын
@@nepiahemopo1702 What was great the game was a fast flowing game and both sides were well up for it. Despite complaints about the referee. I did not have an overall problem with the referee, as he did allow the game to flow without much stoppages. That was a huge bonus for a friendly test match as it quicken the pace of the game. If he wanted to be picky he could have sin bin far more players and ruined the game flow. Overall it was largely without incidence, but Munster did get a few additional injuries. It also was a great test for the Munster development and fringe players who got the opportunity to show what they can do within the team. Munster Irish internationals were called up to the senior Irish squad so not playing, and also Munster had a long injury list, which forced coaches to use development players into the team. It was great for me as a Munster fan who enjoy these type of games within a season to see the development of players who are not able to play high quality contest games like the European cup or top URC sides, unless there is long list of injuries. Peter O' Mahony (now retired from International Duties) got his chance to play an all black team (albeit a lower tier team which were still passionate - I appreciate that) while playing in a Munster and he did not hold back, despite been at the Twight of his career.

Is anyone else sick of the rolling maul/lineout drive. To me it's a relic from the past that is stifling creativity in the game. The rules about how you are allowed to defend a maul mean that most defending teams won't contest the lineout so the attacking team is guaranteed possession and doesn't even have to throw straight. If you can't get forward momentum you can just pass to the backs. If you do get a roll on you're likely to get a penalty advantage from a defender joining the maul the wrong way, if the maul goes to ground you're likely to get a penalty or a penalty try and a yellow card and otherwise you score the try... through legalised obstruction.
