How the referees helped Efes in this particular game but Oly still won: 1st Period: At 8:11 Dunston made an offensive foul on Spanoulis but the ball was for Efes. At 2:49 Milutinov didn't made an offensive foul, but ball for Efes. At 0:17 the referee was looking on the ceiling and he didn't saw that Honeycutt steped on the line but Spanoulis saw it and after that he gave the ball to Oly. 2nd Period: At 5:47 Waters didn't made an offensive foul, but ball for Efes. At 4:13 Green didn't took the clear foul that Dunston did on him. At 2:56 Agravanis took a clear rebound but referees gave the ball on Efes. (Something wierd happened to the time counter but the rebound was on time) 3rd Period: Νothing wierd. 4rth Period: At 6:14 Dunston made a foul on Young who also scored, so it was a 2pointer plus a foul, but referees gave only the foul. Only money can't give you Euroleague Cups. If you are that classic moron who says that refs helped Oly in this game, write the time and the period so we can see it.

Nothing is over yet. Efes is still a team with so many players that can score (ok, some of them are little crazy like Huertel). Today they were very bad in their 3 points shots, and it's difficult to happen again. The good defence against Dunston was one of the keys to victory (kudos to Patrick Young and Agravanis). Balbay tried to make Spanoulis nervous, it was a smart mind-game to make him loose his concentration. But Spanoulis plays better when he is nervous, that's what is so strange about him. Anyway, see you in the 5th game, both teams deserve to be in Final Four, too bad that one of them will get eliminated.

I don`t agree. Sfairopoulos is the same good coach as itoudis. He lead Oly to the final in his first season in 2015. Last year Oly had many injury problems and so they couldn`t make it to the final four. This season they have many injuries too but nevertheless they reached the 3rd place in the regular season and now they are one step away of F4.

Efes could have won today, they rampaged in the first quarter but then nobody stepped up. And also, a win is a win. Are you only 2-2 or not, lol. I love basketball & I hate seeing the same stupid Turkish-Greek dogfight in these comments. I will post this under related videos so that we can see how stupid we're & end this nonsense conflict. But, so what? Respect the successes of Greek teams. -Do not bring up the Ottoman times or military successes to the discussion. These have nothing to do with basketball. What Greeks should do: -Accept that Turkish basketball is rising lately. And respect it! Maybe this rise is mainly due to more money invested in teams, but so be it. Remember that PAO got most of its titles with top quality and expensive teams. This is totally fine, this is not national team. - Accept that Turkish people are not very different than you are. We're probably equally barbaric & civilized. If Greeks had the military power that Turks had during the Ottomans, they'd probably do the same to Turks. Remember that the Greek armies attempted to get the Western part of today’s Turkey, when they had the chance. They didn’t say ’oh we're very civilized & we haven’t been ruling in Anatolia for hundreds of years, so let’s leave it to Turks.’ The one who has the power tends to use it to control the others, it has been this way throughout the history of humanity. As I said before, the latest improvements are mainly because of teams bringing in better foreign players and coaches. We agree on this. I also agree that teams should invest more on the youngsters than foreigners for a sustainable improvement. Still, 'Turkish basketball' is rising despite under-supported academies. For example, Turkish youth national teams have been very dominant in the last few years, unlike before. Also, Turkey has managed to produce quality NBA players as well.

Human is a violent animal whether its Turk or Greek, unless you educate it. Uneducated people would be easily manipulated to do gruesome things, just like 6-7 September 1955 atrocities in Istanbul.. How the referees helped Efes in this particular game but Oly still won: 1st Period: At 8:11 Dunston made an offensive foul on Spanoulis but the ball was for Efes. At 2:49 Milutinov didn't made an offensive foul, but ball for Efes. At 0:17 the referee was looking on the ceiling and he didn't saw that Honeycutt steped on the line but Spanoulis saw it and after that he gave the ball to Oly. 2nd Period: At 5:47 Waters didn't made an offensive foul, but ball for Efes. At 4:13 Green didn't took the clear foul that Dunston did on him. At 2:56 Agravanis took a clear rebound but referees gave the ball on Efes. (Something wierd happened to the time counter but the rebound was on time) 3rd Period: Νothing wierd. 4rth Period: At 6:14 Dunston made a foul on Young who also scored, so it was a 2pointer plus a foul, but referees gave only the foul.
