I just want to adress a few things I have noticed while scrolling down this comment section. First of all, those oly fans who say that Zalgiris is nothing and doesn't respect your greatness, read that sentence twice. As far as I know calling the other team "nothing" and then complaining they don't respect you IS disrespectful. Second, Saras was not crying about the refs before or after the game. He told he expected that teams would be treated equally. I don't see anything wrong with that. You have to admit the teams weren't treated equally. If anyone is whining about anything, that person is the oly coach. He was complaining about refs after this game, accused Saras of trying to influence the refs it really blows my mind. Dude should look at the mirror. The Panathinaikos owner might be a little brash sometimes but I agree with him that something has to be done about refereeing quality. Anyway, shoutout to all the olympiacos fans who created an amazing atmosphere in the arena!

To all my Lithuanian friends, pls chill. I support Oly and respect Zalgiris for the very mindful and tough basketball the play,and yes yesterday the refs were a bit more lenient towards us. Not by as much as it would’ve changed the game though. I know the first quarter was bad, and the calls on Toupane, but what about the calls on Tillie, who got sent out with two very strict fouls? What about the fouls on McLean, Pritnezis, Strelnieks who were bleeding? What about the first game? Two crucial fouls not given on Spanoulis, Printenzis? I’ve been waiting for this series for so long, cause I know how tough both teams are. Don’t blame it all on refs like you and your coach does on every single possession. It’s not easy to ref such a tough game. To both fans, please show respect to the teams fighting on court and enjoy the basketball! Peace

Referees were as they should be: Calling fouls when Zalgiris resorts to playing kickboxing instead of BBall. Zalgiris fans have unfortunately been brainwashed by Saras and his CONSTANT whining, to think that all refs are against them, instead of seeing the truth. You have some great players offensively, but in defence they play like highschool punks, not professionals. The best example of said brainwashing was Davies' (unsportsmanlike - hit in the face mid-air is dangerous AF) foul to Papapetrou (see play of the night) which was only called as a regular foul and instead of thanking the refs for letting him go like that, we saw him cursing while on the bench.
