Jasmine Joyce player of the match, hard to do on the losing side but she was everywhere. As to the rest of the Welsh team, please cover 100% of the width of field, bunching in the middle of the field may stop slower forwards from making a break, but allowing space to wingers will cause you more pain.

Congrats Black Ferns on the test win,Thought Wales may do better,not being a world cup,not into it as much?,maybe in years to come though,they might improve against the BF. Tui may have scored more if stayed on for the whole test too.And know Waaka in France i think,is Woodman got a bad injury,concussions stuff,or broken,not played in months,world series sevens,months ago.Wish she had played in this England test next week too?.🏴👍🏴

DO NOT LISTEN TO THE NOISE OF SOCIAL MEDIA AND TO INCREASE MICRO-FOCUS, BE COMPLETELY OBLIVIOUS OF THE CROWD WHEN ON THE FIELD!!! Love that the Black Ferns treat each opponent with great respect to unleash their fury against them regardless of current status - that's healthy mental state!!! The catch-and-pass was a great feature of this game which produced results in the fringes, and more importantly - the instinctive pass being controlled well which maintained the Black Ferns flavour of exciting attack brand! The WHOLE TEAM played well. BUT, Mererangi Paul was always my winger of choice - safe under the high ball, aggressive and speedy runner, smart, safe in defence, possesses a smart kicking game and great awareness, and a good finisher!!! She has all the qualities of good winger that Ruby Tui has!!! Sae was great but a little higher at times which would pose a problem for her to break through tight defence against France or England, even Canada - but overall, she came out an effective hard worker for her BF team mates!!! Iritana Hohaia was awesome - she needs to maintain that confidence and consistency and introduce a kicking game to her play to become perfect quick distributor. With Cocksedge gone, the only general on the field seems to be just Ruahei Dumante - therefore, a fast ball distribution to her at all times is required from the inside half!!! The silent hard workers in the field, like Georgia Ponsonby, Amy Ruhle, Brenda Brenmner and Maia Roos and Alana Bremnar, deserve praise and recognition - and what can I say about Kennedy and Liana??? They are just freakish excellent on the field in every game. Wales try could have been stopped - it was a disappointment to see Krystal standing instead of kneeling to stop the relentless Welsh attack. That should be rectified and be part of maintaining higher standards expected of the Black Ferns team. Otherwise, awesome game and team work - wahine toa!!!* 👍👍👍👍👍

How can only playing 3 games in a pool of 6 teams give a true reflection of the tier placings ? It's ridiculous !

WXV is designed to lift the standards of women's rugby for the world cups. Especially tiers 2 & 3 where those teams have a lack of international matches. 2025 RWC is expanding from 12 teams to 16, so they want to give other nations more quality games to raise the standards.
