@@davidhill408 Turns out the Crew have played about a third of their season with a short-term callup at backup GK rather than declaring Bush out for the season and just putting one on the roster. It's still on the GM for managing the roster this way.

As an MLS fan I guess I can clap and applaud for Columbus wanting to win everything from the CONCACAF to leagues cup to MLS cup, you come so far and all the way to here! I'm so happy for you and how you play! However I am a strong Seattle Sounders fan and nothing makes me happy than to see them win and hope to see them carry the MLS cup this year hopefullly.....! No hard feelings Columbus! Please just save a seat if i decide to go to Columbus and enjoy a game there with the ultras!

Hey man I appreciate your kind words, GG! Once our GK got the card I knew Zawadski would take his place because he’s our Swiss Army Knife. GK may not be for him, but all of us who stayed at the game into the final minutes made sure to show him love for stepping up, he was my man of the match vote 100%. Columbus mismanaged a roster that had two GKs who played for MNTs and another with a long-term injury - they kept bringing up GKs with short-term contracts instead of putting someone else on the roster. This was bound to happen.

Their first 2 keepers were out on International duty and they only had 1 keeper left without the option of signing an academy keeper on short loan as they already used their loans of the season. The only way they could have had a 2nd keeper on bench is if they signed an academy keeper on a first team contract but it would have been a waste of a signing as they would have only needed the academy keeper for this one game.

Nope midfielder. They used all their call-ups earlier this year and refused to sign a new goalie. Then their other two got called up to international duty, so he's all they've got.
