After his last fight Benn is getting carried away thinking he can blast everyone out.. loading up way too much and his inexperience showed the way he was made to miss. He won easily but if he fights someone elusive like that who has a jab and a little ambition it will be difficult.

Avenesyan is a dangerous opponent for Benn at this stage, it would be youth versus experience. Both have tremendous heart but I feel Avenesyan with his great ringcraft and engine may prove too much for Benn if the fight were to go into later rounds . . . but that is definitely not a given tbf because Benn undoubtedly has power and the ability to land it. Conor Benn is impressing with his Boxing at this stage, his performances are as exciting as they are determined. If a fight with Avenesyan was to be made I think it would turn into a great battle, . . . for as long as it lasted that is.

All hype. Hearn places these guys against guys that are one the resumes of PBC fighters to "compare resumes" but it never plays out like he intends. Benn faced two prior Danny Garcia opponents and looked mid grade both times. He fights like a great fighter past his prime and he knows nothing about adjustments. Instead of calling out Broner coming off a two year layoff he should meet someone like Prograis or Mikey Garcia. Wouldnt mind Vergil either. Since he wants to trade shots 😂😂

Agree wholeheartedly. He hasn’t improved much with time and struggles against ordinary boxers. He’s not gonna be a champion until he can learn to settle down and box. That was a useful learning fight for Benn. He needs at least a couple more like that. I would match him against Robert Guerrero who is a gatekeeper for world level and still dangerous, or in similar vein Thomas Dulorme. Other options would Josesito Lopez or if you want to throw him in with a very dangerous highly ranked opponent (but definitely beatable) Abel Ramos. Just please keep him away from Broner (waste of space), Avanesyan (Benn not ready yet) or Kavaliauskas (even more dangerous than Avanesyan)

If Granados were at 140 he would be UNBEATABLE!! He is such an excellent fighter… but he lacks the power to win those title / primetime fights. I have been wanting this man to be at 140 for years.
