Definitely in for some skiing videos. I’ve got to drive three hours to get anywhere near a mountain that almost certainly has manmade snow so this is all I’ve got.

I visit your blogs regularly from Bangladesh. I like your presentation very much. You are invited to Bangladesh. Its history, tradition, culture and hospitality will enchant you. There are many beautiful places in this country that will enchant you. Like, (world's longest beach Cox's Bazar, largest mangrove forest Sundarbans, mountain beauty Sajek Valley, famous tea capital Sylhet, Jaflong etc.) Also the rural life here will touch your heart. . And the people of Bangladesh are very hospitable. I hope you will make the next blog about Bangladesh. Wishing you long life and good health.

As a local runner (and trail runner, 'cause I also know those trails), I can only say I enjoyed this little preview and it was fun to watch the other local guys who I know very well them all, both from São Miguel and Terceira. Such a shame you were not able to complete the race in its oficial route, it's great with good weather. I will definitly wait for the final film! Thanks for the visit and for the kind words about our islands, a true paradise!

I'd love to see some skiing adventures. From what I saw on Strava you are off to a good start. Speaking of Strava. I should not have looked at your feed while you were in the Azores. I spoiled it for myself a bit. Still, with that mud, wind, rain and hail that video will be epic.

Looks amazing and can't wait to watch. I couldn't agree more with traveling during off peak times. I will gladly give up on some "features" of a trip to not have crowds. The price is a bonus but crowds will kill a holiday for me. What's the point of going somewhere when you can't get a reservation and you have to wait in line the whole time? No thank you. Very well done on this and it looked like a trip of a lifetime. Good luck with your editing!

It's amazing how much you were able to cover in this beautiful video -- very nice! I found the cycling was rewarding for the awesome vistas but also character-building as all roads begin at the seaside and go up. A 70 km ride takes a good bite out of the day. Thanks for the video, all the best. Donald

Thanks for the preview. Can't wait for the final video. They have 4 seasons in a day like Montreal? I think we can beat them on snowfall height ;-) Pun aside, seeing you run through he snow, I scrapped a run in a park (after sunset) to run on a bike path since the uneven, partly trampled, partly fresh and partly icy path seemed impossible to run (to me) when I could barely see the uneven ground in pretty contrastless light. How do you handled that sort of snowy run? Did you already do a video about that? Fresh is easy and compacted too, icy always tricky but possible, but this odd mix was beyond me to handle.

Hey Jeff, great sneak peak. The Azores are amazing. We spent 16 days there back in July 2020. Sete Cidades is a great rim hike with views and the thermal tidal pool just south of it are wonderful. We spent half the trip in the northeast corner. Great AirBNB with a lovely host family. Pineapple jam ! We brought back several jars. A lot of folks don’t realize that it’s only 4 1/2 hours from Boston!! I did my first ever drone flying there and the cliffs are breathtaking! kzbin.info/www/bejne/r2aQnaaEdp2eqq8
@leocadiarocha80832 жыл бұрын
Just letting you know, as an Azorean living in USA, I stopped watching the video after I heard you saying “going back to main island “. There’s no such thing as main island. There’s 9 islands and all of them are different with they’re own beauty and traditions. I don’t know where you got the idea from, but let me say that just because a island may have different size and shape doesn’t make it “main” of anything….that’s all…
@JeffPelletier2 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry I offended you. São Miguel is the largest island of course, with the largest population, and the most trails when it comes to hiking/running. It’s the only one with direct flights from Canada which made it the main island for my visit. It seems to be the one that everyone suggests spending the most time on in the guidebooks, and all of my Portuguese friends definitely spoke about it in these terms as well. I realize that I should have simply used the word ‘big’ island though like they do in Hawaii. I’ll be sure to do so in my future documentary, so this feedback was helpful. Thank you!
