Loved the traditional portraits and other works of beauty. Wouldn't think of owning all the contemporary stuff - way too devoid of meaning.

I only half hearted wanted to see the Armory Show and decided not to go. This is an excellent synopsis. Thank you. Unfortunately, I'm alarmed that 21st century art will pale in comparison to the art of the 20th century. Most of the art here is derivative. Artists today treat history like a toy box.
