I'm actually impressed with him. I didn't care for him last year when he co-announced with Roby. Seemed a little too excitable and he and Roby stepped on each other a little. This year he's a lot more polished and professional. Glad it seems like he's got things figured out.

The best nickname is dirt racing is “DOWN TOWN MICHAEL BROWN” I gave Michael his nickname during a big kart race in Jasper Florida at Crossroads Motorplex at the World 100 back around the 2010’s. I raced against him and Chad Tuten and Austin Yarborough, Chad Knaupt, Chad “Houdini” and all them boys. On nights when I wasn’t racing I would announce in the scoring tower. Michael has a son that races dirt karts too, I think he’s number #53. Michael ran pretty good at the World 100 that night and I started calling him “Down Town Michael Brown.” Mike, if you’re reading this can you confirm. Great race bubba.

They went to Needmore and All-Tech which is a lot more involvement in Speedweeks than years past. They got done at All-Tech and are getting Jonathan's modified together for the IMCA show at Southern Raceway this week and the Clash on the Coast with IMCA.

When you throw in so many classes that people watching ONLINE complain it's bad. They have one coming up where they have ELEVEN classes running in addition to the supers. Who thinks that anybody, other than some driver's mama wants to watch some of that junk, I'll never know.

@MrFullfocus I understand it benefits the track, and it's really for the racers. But you'll need double the number of wreckers with crew. And serve breakfast. Time limits are a must. The long nights hurt growth in the sport. You'll have them from time to time. But never plan them.
