Definitely the type of fight that young prospects need if they are going to make the next step up in their career.

A high-level fight. Bolotniks coming back in round 6 after these hard punches in bunches shows the quality of both fighters.
@LeoVocalMusicCovers3 жыл бұрын
An absolutely fantastic performance from Buatsi. He must have learned a lot about himself during this very tough, and technical fight. This is exactly the fight he needed to move him up to the next level and more so for self-confidence. Fair play to Bolotniks - he got himself into magnificent shape and was definitely in there to win - what a tough tough man he is. No shame at all in losing to the better man. onward and upward for our man Joshua Buatsi.

@@HerbEVore-ti6hs you are totally missing my point. You obviously do not pay attention to the super hype of Joshua. Like he is the next best thing since sliced bread. Over hyped. Under performance totally compared to the super hype of him. The way everyone has been talking the last week he should have knocked out Bolo in 10 seconds of the 1st round no matter if Bolo came to win. And this wasn't a high level fight.

I couldn’t agree more. Also needs to stay controlled when he hurts his man. He relied on his power and wild shots that gassed him out after the first knockdown.

@@Theonecamcam123321 yeah not completely. He lost control and expanded a lot of energy. Towards the end of the rush you can see the fatigue from how slow his punches were and how they weren’t as crispy. At :35 in the 6th it looked like they both mutually clenched to me that indicates he needed a quick rest but to each his own 🙏🏾

From this footage I don't think Buatsi is ready for Bivol, even though I see Buatsi a lot more competitive against Bivol than against Beterbiev. If Bolotniks had Beterbiev's power he'd have taken Buatsi out early, since Buatsi's defense was quite leaky. Bolotniks countered him consistently but did not have power to hurt him. With Beterbiev it would have been lights out for Buatsi early in the fight.
