@@johnm2012He does so most weeks. PMQs is about sound bites and farming party support (or judging how badly you have lost it). No one really expects Sunak to actually answer the questions asked, no matter what they are. Expecting anything else is just silly, and has been for some time. I’d say scrap it, but honestly it’s useful to drag the PM in front of the camera because there’s only a few ways he can dodge it, and otherwise it’s very difficult to do that.

He has the bulletproof armour of knowing the biggest job in Britain is actually a bonus to him. If he loses the election this year he'll still be married to an heiress and remembered as the guy who was an improvement on Liz Truss. I agree, this government post-Boris, is a complete shambles. However, what worries me about a possible Labour government is they have become the party of hate, spite and division. The volcanic anger of this Welsh windbag, Comrade Drakeford, and the sheer venom that Rayner directs at the Tories are perfect examples of this. Whilst, by contrast, Starmer reminds me of a supply teacher who is always on the verge of getting the class in order, but never quite succeeding. It doesn't help that he has all the sheer molten charisma of a draught excluder. Therein the danger lurks. Starmer is weak whilst Rayner is strong. @@lynholness5177PMQs isn't the place for the Opposition leader to outline his plans. However, on other occasions he has said what he'd do. He'd scrap the insane Rwanda plan and spend the money on getting asylum claims processed. The fact it's that the number of people actually arriving in small boats is less than 1% of the total number of people immigrating into the country. Around 750,000 people arrived "legally" and were allowed to stay, welcomed by the government. I point this out because a common objection to a few thousand refugees arriving "illegally" is that they take up space in a country that's already full and prevent real British people from getting a GP appointment. Their numbers are insignificant compared with the number of people being given permission by the government.

He has a large working majority in the HoC yet claims labour are blocking his policy…….? Rwanda is a ‘deterrent’ but they are desperate to see flights taking off full of asylum seekers. If a flight full of asylum seekers takes off to Rwanda, then clearly it has failed as a deterrent.

The Speaker needs to get a grip on this rabble. I doubt that there is anywhere else in the country where such appalling behaviour is permitted. He should also do something about the fact that Sunak never answers a question, choosing instead to do nothing but lie. They should all be embarrassed.

What exactly does back to square one mean, because if surely square one is 2010, when the Tories took office, where the country, wages and living standards were better, more police per capita, shorter waiting NHS waiting times, where you could actually see a dentist and sewage wasn't being discharged into our sea and rivers on an industrial scale. So if that means voting out the Tories means going back to square one, then sure. sign me up.

'Back to square one' must be one of their most ill conceived slogans yet! Who amongst you wouldn't want to go back to 2010 relative levels of home affordability, food and energy costs, NHS and public services levels, when we had actual police on the street and actual libraries and swimming pools etc. Back in the days when we had doctors, nurses, carers and teachers and hardly any food banks. When debt levels were half of what they are now and the economy (despite the banking crash) was in decent shape. Yes Rishi, offer me 'back to square one' and I'll bite your hand off!!!!!

Before I watch this, I've prepared myself a shot glass and a bottle of whiskey. I shall take a shot each time I hear Rishi Sunak say "He speaks of..." in a vague attempt to pretend he's answering the question; one for "They don't have a plan / We have a plan" or varieties thereof; another for "Stop the Boats". I shall take a bonus shot if Rishi doesn't actually answer the question posed to him or if he blames Labour for something that has happened in the last 13 years of Tory Government. Let's see how this goes.

1. Stop the boats. We have a plan. Question not answered. 2. "He talks... he asks these questions" - gonna count that one. He said it twice too. He doesn't have a plan. Didn't answer the question. Am seriously considering "Back to Square One!" being a new trigger. 3. "A plan that is working", Stop the boats. No plan. Back to square one. Didn't answer question. 4. No shot. Thank goodness. Getting wobbly. Question was a bit weak, so I'll let Rishi off for his mostly unrelated rant. 5. Lost will to live. Having a shot. 6. "Doesn't have a plan". Didn't answer question. Having a lie down, now.

Sunak constantly tries to defend his policies at PMQs by saying Labour doesn't have a plan. Even if Labour didn't have a plan, he can't keep deflecting opposition questions by saying they have no plan. As to a plan, as Starmer said in a recent interview, oppositions don't give their plans until close to an election because a government can cherry pick parts they like, and claim them as their own. Nearer the time, all parties produce their plans.
