Yep, I read some Kiwis saying they miss them in Super Rugby and I can’t work out why. I’m glad they’ve gone and hope they don’t return. I watched every game this team played of this tournament. I was hoping to see gradual improvements as they progressed through each game. In my opinion what i witnessed was a poorly coached, poorly managed and poorly lead team. Their discipline was poor and their respect for the Jersey was missing. I can't blame the players as this level of dysfunction can only be placed on the shoulders of the leadership team. I liken it to the Black Ferns pre world cup and pre the professor sorting it out. Absolutely agree with you. They were lucky to win against Wales. I was concerned about the Team selections as the forwards were a bit lighter. Yes, speed is good but this is 15. It's not acceptable to the general kiwi - If my beloved Crusaders did this as a matter of course - I would be very sad - Most reds now are poor techniques - though odd exception from stupid players - I was very disappointed in 2022 when a new Crusader hooker did a thug like move . Not sure if he played again - Anyway these are young high energy - they learnt a valuable lesson - ist one the flip was due to going gaining height going over another player - should have released - 2nd one no excuse whatsoever - ie I don't think first was deliberate - you often see many flips involving 2 or more players , complex situations - anyway not a lift and pile drive - he kind of flipped himself as well

Great battle between the trans Tasman cousins. Pity about that red card The Joeys have been a class outfit from day one and have challenged in every game. I think Georgia wins 5th. The Baby Blacks played with free abandon in the knowledge that they should have been in the semi finals. 1st 5 Taha Kemara was the maestro out there directing attack and putting runners into gaps. His kicking was on point too. Macca Springer and Caleb Tangitau are two powerful speed merchant beasts. Can't wait to see them in action in the future. I think they finish 7th.

@@russe19642 having a starter leave the field for a backup is a disadvantage. But you can't actually believe Aussie would've beaten them full strength 🤣 NZ played with no discipline, lots of errors and 14 men for most of the game and still looked like they were gonna win it lmao. That's not being a sore loser that's just factual sightings from watching the game. And subbing off a dangerous player for another one makes perfect sense. The NFL has this rule and it's perfect, still allows the better team to win without disadvantaging the team as a whole and punishes the individual player (usually fines and/or suspension for getting ejected). I think this rule is very logical. Look at super rugby, they changed their card rules so the players can come back on. Clearly they thought that rule needed changing 🤷🏻‍♂️ it's not a perfect rule, but it's far better than what we have now

@@plumbascrack69 yeh I watch NFL don't mind it after I learnt the rules, basketball not so much still ok. But I'm AFL first and they don't have a send off rule,so you can take someone out of a game and stay in the field which is unfair really because if you wanted you could take a few out if you wanted to and not lose anyone. Except you'll be rubbed out for a long time from suspension. Unfortunately it's all about protecting the head now in every sport and union has gone down the road of redcards,as much as it annoys you they're the rules and everyone knows them. My only gripe with that is the accidental contact which happens and needs to be looked at as in some plays the attacking player slips trying to evade causing the head contact. In AFL nothing above the shoulders and you'd be amazed how good it works, once everyone knows it's up to them. I think the rugby has it right with send offs as that's a bigger penalty losing a player and maybe the AFL should look at it as well or at least have the offending player sit out the same length of time the victim of his actions does. Anyway you can tell from that no4 for NZ it won't be his last redcards just by looking at his demeanor,he has issues that guy and is probably your new Lowe who spent half his career on the bench

Oh how I like this. I mean the result. No matter who says what about NZ, they lost, no matter the talent, no matter how good, how fast, the electronic scoreboard has the final say which is 44-35. That is the only thing that counts in the end. No one is going to talk about how good they played or whatever, It's the final score. I'm frankly sick how the second place are praised for what? Go home go cry is all they can do. Since when is losing being praised? I though winning is everything.

Stupid rugby role of red card. Why can't they just red card the player then sent them out but bring a replacement player to be a fair game. Stupid rugby rule waste of time prepare for a game blood and sweat but the rule of punishing individual players ruin a whole game..this is an unfair rule rugby world.
