Great to see Juarno back! Hope Rassie is watching...
@helpingaccount311610 ай бұрын
Oh please. He made a good decision to move to Europe. He opened a way for someone way better than him (Roos). And Roos Injury opened the doors for Dayimani to show us what he's got at no8. Mpilo Gumede at the bulls is another promising contender. There's also Elright Louw. Francke Horn and Ruan Venter at the lions. All these guys have 100% preforming away better than Juarno even before he got his latest injury. Juarno hasn't statistically outperformed any No8 playing in SA. This season a young Cameron Hanekom has surpassed him.Rassie & Co track your record, minutes you've played and individual performance highlights. There's no ways they will call Juarno.

Another great afternoon at the gardens despite pretty much all the back line first choice players being away.

Rugby is inclusive. If your scared by a flag maybe football is more your thing.

Who said anyone was scared of a flag, what a dumb thing to say.
@jamesalexander420310 ай бұрын
@thomastimms88I beg to differ, what makes you say that? As a former player, coach and parent of players I am genuinely interested.
@jamesalexander420310 ай бұрын
@thomastimms88 I think I am very aware. Perhaps I am lucky having played for Northampton Casuals RFC - a 100 year old club with a foundation on inclusion for Casual workers, travelling folks, anyone and every one has been welcome on our pitch and at our bar for a century. We have men and women internationals from our membership, youth and junior sections and anyone has always been welcome. I can agree that top brass can, and have, has issues but please don’t tar “Rugby” as such a sport. It gave this lanky, skinny, weird lad a place to thrive when i was a lad and it has done the same for millions of girls and boys around the world. What can we do to change it ? Volunteer ? Influence ? Assist ? I do hope so. Wishing you a good Sunday.

@thomastimms88 god knows where you've played then mate. Played myself everywhere. Never ran into the amount of nonsense you're going on about. From how you're portraying things I'd expect to see people goose stepping the line. Keep politics out of sport, unless you're completely blind Rugby has always been massively inclusive. Do you ever stop for a moment to think you're being the exact opposite by championing a flag many people aren't comfortable with? Especially the likes of Stonewall who are an extremist organisation rejected by more and more mainstream institutions. What gives you that right?

@2:03 ... that defending player was clearly back on-side before any contact was made in that try-line tackle.
@matthewwardle426110 ай бұрын
On the last try. Initial player gets tackled, stops, places the ball forward, perfectly legally, towards the line. Was short so placed it back?
@michaelbagby785310 ай бұрын
I saw that. It's a double movement so should have been a penalty to Newcastle.
@johnlaw451310 ай бұрын
Thought a double movement was only going forward?
@michaelbagby785310 ай бұрын
I think the way the law is written is you can place the ball immediately in any direction. However The majority of double movement calls are when someone goes forward I can't see why going forward then back isn't seen as two actions. I may be completely wrong though.

Penalty to Newcastle, once you have placed it, you can’t move it again. That is a risk you take
