Believe me it's not so hilarious when teeth get involved & one is shaking the other one like a rag doll. Males fighting can do serious harm to each other, hedgehog rescues have to deal with the aftermath far too often.

I know people there have a different opinion about it, but I hate seeing cats wandering around outside.

⁠Yeah, same here. Not only do they show unnatural behaviour like hunting for fun (real wild cats would eat their prey), they are also a thread for endangered species. Not to mention the harm that is done by killing bird parents. Again, house cats are NO natural part of our ecological balance, but harm nature when they are outside wearing no bell collar.

They "Wonder as They Wander" 🎶☺️ Yeah domesticated cats definitely should not be allowed to wander freely. There are all sorts of an amazing Catios these days that allow them outdoor access. However, feral cats are amazing for keeping the rat population down, and without using toxic chemicals, which also kill native plants and wildlife. There was a park in Florida that put out a whole bunch of rat traps and the long time resident family of Great-Horned Owls all died from eating the poisoned rats. Owls and raptors also are great predators at keeping the rat and mice population down.
