Hats off to Malkin! The capper to an amazing night, that third goal was without a doubt the most insane play I have ever seen! Back to the goal looking at the puck, the defender trying to screen him and he still has the sense to backhand the puck over Cam Ward. Simply sensational!!!

Fantastic job on the highlights as always! Genos' hat trick goal was amazing. It kinda was Jagresque. Great so see Kunitz get a goal finally, and how about Satan? I was his biggest critic during the regular season. Now he seems to be money. Lastly, congrats to Geno on his first playoff hat trick!!! MVP, MVP, MVP, MVP!!!

Exactly, that's how it always is. Even though it's ridiculously obvious that the Pens have a better team than last year. A team that will challenge any of the best all time teams in my opinion. They have the stars for scoring, the role players that can score, the defense that can score. The Offense that backchecks, the defense that play physical, the defense that hits well. Also, the goalie is amazing in pressure situations.

Funny to read this all these years later. That 09 team outside of Crosby and Malkin is considered one of the weaker cup winning rosters. Crosby and Malkin were just so dominant it didn't matter. They truly carried that team.

@nintendoman34 Yes the officials clearly favor Pittsburgh when Detroit had 12 more powerplays in that whole series. I don't think I've ever seen so many fans of a team who won 4 Cups and 6 conference champs since '95 act so angrily. Wings fans have literally no reason to be angry with that amount of success, but instead of chillin', they just whine whine whine. I've never seen so much whining about winning of all things.

If Osgood had backstopped the Islanders to an Atlantic Division crown in 2001-02, the Isles would’ve made the Final and lost to Detroit and then Curtis Joseph would’ve been the one beating Crosby, Malkin and the Pens in 2008, which means that Cujo would’ve been the one that the Pens would’ve cracked, instead of Ozzie.
