I'm a st johnstone fan so don't know from first hand experience about Celitic european games, but the atmosphere is incredible at Hampden for a big game. I don't think it projects as well to tv as it does at parkhead due to fans being so far away from the pitch though.

Jock Tamson Just because people are Celtic fans doesn't make them want to support Ireland, I support Celtic and support Scotland I hate seeing tri colours at parkhead just as I hate seeing the the union jack at ibrox. But I do agree with you it shouldn't really matter what club anyone supports at the international stage as its about the country. Scotland = Celtic , Rangers , Dundee Utd , Aberdeen , every other club and every other Scottish city !

Aside from the three Dortmund boys Poland are no better than us so if we can beat the Croats home and away we can do the same to them. with them and an aging Ireland side as our main rivals 3rd place at the very least is an absolute must. In tae them!

Hanley and Martin look good in the centre,Best partnership in the last few years.We just need Fox and Bardsley getting games in the EPL again,hope when Caldwell comes back he does not go straight back into the team,he has no pace.Maybe Wilson at Hearts will get another big move?Good defender should be involved next time out,young enough to move on.Sometimes you need to take a step backwards to move forward.And guys like Love at Man Utd and Davey at Chelsea are our defensive future in few years.

Exactly we mist D Fletcher,S Fletcher,Maloney,Rhodes,Whittaker,could maybe throw Bardsley and Fox in there as well,who lost the club places Bardsley played last week though.And officially Gordon our keeper,is still not retired yet.Oh yes Wallace pulled out to,might have played.So with all these things considered in was a fantastic performance and victory.Lets hope we keep it up against USA and Norway and get further up the rankings than 35 were we are just now,not like I am being to greedy here.

CROATIA had no reason to win as they were always going to be in second spot play off either way. Croatia never performs in these games with no meaning. they rested Rakitic, and Kovacic also and did not want any of a handful of players to get second yellows. was always going to play out like this as the scots will always fight even if the games has no meaning as they are a country that needs to restore soccer pride

dean Tell me about it me as well.Nothing against your nation as well loved watching your teams over the years when we were not there you have always had good players.Right now we are trying to produce better players we have some quality youngsters at big clubs like Man Utd Chelsea Liverpool Man Utd we want to come through.And we have a guy at Sporting in Portugal they want 60 million Euro for.And lots of other guys in Scotland looking for moves young guys with huge teams after them that could move in the window.Its not all bad not as bad as we were even three seasons ago when these guys were not around.Just need to find the right clubs were they will play be it here or abroad.More than ever decent teams from abroad are looking at our players and that can only be a good thing if they have the confidence to go over and try something new be it language and culture.Will only make them better for the national team one day.Lots have the chance though and do not take it move to the championship in England or the BPL and get more money and sometimes do not play as much as they should for there development.Robertson looks like he will do at Hull though and that is good he is only 20 prob be our main left back for the next 12 years he has the lot can attack and defend looks like he has been in our team forever and has only got 4 caps.Already there is talk he will find a bigger team than Hull down in England they say he is the best deal of the season he left Dundee United for 3 million and looks as if he is worth four or five times that amount or more.Like Hull they sign our players like Wigan used to when they were up in the top league with Martinez.
