What a disappointing 2nd half. Can’t imagine the feeling of failure from that showing. Did you think going into half up 2 was getting the win? Seemed SKC was the only one that wanted to fight that 2nd half, and FCD just wanted to play that, as called in American football, passive defense and got caught on their heels. Very sad to give away what should have been a well-earned victory in KC.

I think MLS has been getting better (baby steps), but do you think it’ll ever be good football? Think that could happen with a salary cap? Unless it’s all you watch, I think it’s more disappointing to watch your MLS team lose because we also just watched hours of sub-par football (relatively) that would have a hard time holding up in Bundesliga 2.

Go Schalke ‘04, Blau und Weiße! My 1st team to be a true fan of while being stationed in Germany. Ajax was next. Then, I learned of MLS when returning home and yearn for some REAL football.

As far as with a salary cap yes it could happen. It just needs more fans MLS is like the 5th or 6th watched sport if you count UFC and boxing in the US. The NFL and NBA have salary caps and there are a bunch of players making $20-$45 million a year. So I believe if revenue keeps going up so teams can pay high end salary’s and MLS keeps investing in the youth I could see MLS competing with Europe by 2050.
