There must be laws and consequences for so called fans that cause so much damage. That person should be in jail. Especially when it is so often a selfish person who just wants to be on TV. It should be a criminal act to disrespect the Pelton, sport, and true fans in such a manner.

First thing most people learn in cycling is protecting the front wheel. I don’t think the crash could’ve been prevented even on the drops and holding firm. Sad to see selfish people like the fan holding the sign.
