Outside of the obvious with Bedard being him, Him reaper, Himmy Neutron, Himmy Johns, all that. The rest of the prospects were also looking good. Marcel Marcel looked great, Wyatt Kaiser stays fun to watch, and Andrew Perrott was an absolute menace.

Korchinski and Allan looked solid too. Korch had at least 2 assists and that pairing clearly works. It also looks like people weren’t kidding when they said savoie is basically Shaw 2.0, but the version of him that shows more discipline when we have a lead 😂. He was throwing his body all over but walked away from altercations when we had the lead to bait the other team into a penalty. He looked like a smart agitator today

Not so much. It's all young players that are part of the organization. 95% of them will play in the AHL. I mean, obviously if they display some kind of impressive talent they may get a spot on the team. It's not so much a tryout tho

@@meme_ajinplus he’d be the youngest captain in NHL history if he gets it sometime next offseason. He’d be the youngest even if he got it toward the end of his second year. Because of his age alone and the fact that there aren’t a ton of leaders on the current hawks roster that will be here for any extended period of time, odds are at some point bedard will become the youngest captain in NHL history given he’s so much younger than most other generational talents at the time they were drafted. Plus every teammate he’s ever had has said he’s somehow a better person and leader than hockey player, which is crazy to believe.
