Good win for us and a really matured performance with a semi experimental side still not convinced this is our best team but this shows our level of depth when you look at the players who weren't selected this week, hopefully we can kick on now and play consistently at our best

Scotland really have a great forward pack and talent comparable with any northern hemisphere team. Only places there lacking are in the centres, wings and at scrum half.

@@qcthesxientist I think those areas are good tbh Centre options - Jones, Johnson, Hutchinson, Grigg, Dean, Lang, Harris, Taylor, McDowall, Bennet, Scott etc Wings - Graham, Duhan, Maitland, Kinghorn, Seymour etc Scrum Half - Price, G. Horne, and Sam Hidalgo Clyne I think the main problem is we don't seem to have a nailed down combination in these areas especially in the centre and now the wing is uncertain with Duhans arrival

As a Welsh fan I can honestly say I don't know what has happened or who's to blame, no expert, just a local club player. The one thing I do know is on that performance Italy would've done us. Watching this game gave me horrible flashbacks to Wales in the 1990s. Absolutely woeful and bereft of any invention. Please Mr Pivac, find some ball carriers if you want to mimic the Gatland era. Or why not go 'whole Scarlets' and play 'high tempo, attack space, avoid contact' rugby that got you the job in the first place? Or stack the first 15 with youngsters and build for the next world Cup- the plus 30s brigade are just going through the motions. Just give us something to believe in as currently it's depressing as hell.

This game is hardly representative of the six nations and this one in particular was easily one of the most awful games the 6N has produced recently (excluding ones where the weather was awful). Other super saturdays, particularly where the tournament is still on the line, have been brilliant. There was one super saturday a few years ago where the combined score from the 3 games was 225 points scored.
