I have never heard of permanent loc extensions. Her hair looks amazing!! 😍 and you do an amazing job . I was thinking about doing locks but I was trying to grow my hair out because I don't want them to be too short. I wish there was someone out here who knew how to do this. How long do your retwist last since you don't use gel? I use castor oil and a tiny tiny bit of jam and my retwist don't last but about two weeks depending if in wrapping my hair or how active I am.

Never had them. I do my own hair and I am not good with styling. Curls mostly because they are easy; never do I try styling my loc’s; I have no idea 💡 how to style them other than curls, pony tail and bun.

Trust in the community that has been built by Dxlyn, we can all help each other. I remember making suggestions to you in another video. Without her being able to see and feel the hair, anything suggested would be a "well educated" *stab in the dark* that may or may not work or only work temporarily. You really need to book a consultation with someone whether it is with her or someone in your area. There are too many variables that can contribute to thinning hair. You need to make sure you aren't applying a band-aid to something that needs stitches.

WhoDaManMe my wife doesn't have experience with locs but she's trying. It may be a number of things causing this. I can even be going bald but I'll try a loctician before throwing in the rag

Jmiyah11 Also another thing to consider is getting your thyroid checked. A thyroid that isn't functioning properly can lead to thinning hair and extremely dry brittle hair. Once treated your hair will go back to growing like normal.

You can try to train it with palm rolling but honestly it many never go away. I started this way 7 years ago and still have the thicker ends

I dont recommend it. Best way to start is with hair in its optimal state. If you start anyway just make sure there is more hair around the edges to support them
