Hugs to everyone able to identify their HSP trait through your videos! It's hard not to get excited and overzealous when you can "see yourself" so easily and haven't really felt that kinship before! I think the internet has provided this way for us to connect. I read this a few years back from the library, but so excited I received my copy from Thriftbooks today! I don't find these videos the least bit boring, it's so relatable. Thanks for sharing!

This is so much me. I live in a house of people who don’t really understand it. They can’t understand why I don’t wanna go to a big party etc. It makes me so anxious and then drained for hours or through the next day after. It’s so hard to even explain. Looking forward to the next chapters. Ty for sharing

I totally get it. Sometimes we have to just do what we need to do and not explain ourselves to people who don’t get it, which is easier said than done, of course. We have to do what is best for us, not what other people think is best for us, right? They don’t even know! 🤦🏻♀️

@@jimivane5095 Absolutely! I didn't do that when I was younger, but I listen to myself much more often now.

@@shellp4463same girl. I am finally the authority in my life. 😊 I feel like I gave away that position too much in the past. But no more.

@@jimivane5095 well Melatonin doesnt seem to work for me. Now i am trying the 4x4 square breathing. I also try the 4-7-8 but have trouble not breathing while holding it. Im now trying the slow relaxation progression starting with my head and moving down my body. I stop ipad and phone glare by 8:00. In the past i tried the warm baths, lavender spray on my pillow and sound machine. How about you? Any luck? Im also sleeping in a different bedroom so i dont disturb my husband when i keep getting up if I’m not sleeping.
