Cannot understand why someone would spec the Aero kit on a standard Carrera. Just comes across as trying too hard and is inconsistent with the ethos of this care.

I agree, but it does look better to me on the 992.2 compared to the 992.1, at least in this spec. This also might be a press car, not sure.

How is the 2025 base not deserving of an aero kit?? You say that like it's a 4-cylinder Mustang compared to the 8-cylinder Mustang GT. The Carrera 3.0L is nearly a half second faster 0-60 mph than the Carrera S was just ten years ago. It's going to share with the 2025 GT trim that they're both the only non-hybrid options. I'd personally rather put my money toward a base than an S/GTS this year in particular, mostly due to the hybrid longevity on a hybrid introduction year, future tuning limitations and $$ value. The base is a great trim to choose in 2025, but to each their own.

I think the Aerokit fits better on the 992.2 than 992.1. I think it's because of the rough edges of the car, seems wider and lower. I love it, standard Carrera now it's boring, needs aerokit!

Agree! On the .1 it looked like a GT3 wannabe, now it's much more fitting to me.

@@CarTherapyTV Surprisingly, they changed the game. Although my favorite still remains 991.x Turbo, a 992.2 Carrera with Aerokit would definitely be on my wishlist as a second 911 in the garage. I love everything about the 992.2 except the start-stop button instead of the key-turning button. Couldn't care less for no analog and whatever, but that? They shouldn't have even touched it to begin with.
