ये ही UPPSC का फ़र्ज़ी percentile नियम एक shift में 1000 लोग appear होतें है और उसमें किसी का 100 mark आया और उससे कम पाने वाले 800 लोग है उसका percentile 80 होगा दूसरे shift में अगर 1500 लोग appear हुए और उसमें किसी का 100 marks आया और उससे कम Marks पाने वाले 900 लोग हैं तो उसका percentile 60 होगा यानी ये तुम्हारे Shift में कितने बच्चे आएं और कितने तुमसे कम पढ़ने वाले थे और पेपर का Level क्या था। ये सब से decide होगा आपकी मेहनत का कोई ख़ास role नहीं है अतः LUCK ज्यादा Important हो गया है
