Sefa has been on the go at hardcore events since 2016, so hardly the beginning of his career, as this was only 2 years ago and he was the headliner at Defqon 1 the year before

For me, and this is really nice I like this, the song at 4:30 has always been a song I just HAVE to play at around 24 hours on new years eve just when the new year begins, I believe the tradition started when they played this at Qountdown, a q-dance new years eve party. But I've kept the tradition alive in my life ever since that time, I just don't think I can ever find a better song to start my year with (even though I rarely listen to hardstyle anymore) it's just so iconic. Also, no one at a moment like that who would complain about the excessive bass coming out of your house, lol, honestly the best moment ever for that song and I would recommend everyone following this lovely tradition.

I've never responded to myself, but live the moment, call me a pussy, is honestly one of the more memorable songs of hardstyle. Yes I would've liked to see ''the pophecy'' or some more random shit like ''Ansarat'' by Slim Shore or Strange Love by The Pitcher there, but this is.. this is okay. I'm okay with this as number 1

you should watch videos explaining the history of hardstyle. All these songs have such an amazing feeling for most hardstyle lovers. This is where it started... Headhunters... Paul Elstak... Showtek, they started this genre grow. Its so good :)

Its a fairly accurate representation of the past 20 years of Hardstyle. What surprised me the most is that there are a loooot of pre 2010 records in this list. Goes to say: if you make a good record, it’s timeless! What a trip down memory lane, especially #1 saw that live the first time it got played, fucking chills down my spine 13 years later still. Pps. Meh...pretty sure there have been better Q-dance parties... I've been to virtually every Q event between 2001-2005... But to be fair, it's all in the eye of the beholder...if this was your personal best Q event, it was the best. What I've learned is that Q just doesn't miss...top notch

Showtek was the beginning of making hardstyle mainstream, colors of hardstyle and dust to dust was my puberty, though they went commercial so mainstream EDM these days. And we need a lollipop counter for these videos, it is an accurate mode of measuring how much Highly likes it.

Headhunterz is one guy since the very very early days, originally they were indeed a duo originally known as the Nasty D-Tuners, due to a contract dispute they lost access to that name. THe other half of Headhunterz, Bobby van Putten, decided to purse other activities. Willem Rebergen is the Headhunterz everyone knows, and he's been making and playing his music at events for closing in on two decades now. He's by far the biggest name in Hardstyle, I don't personally think he's particulary good but I will never not respect his work and the good he's done for Harddance. That said, my favourite EVER moment at any event was Headhunterz dropping his track "Psychadelic" at Qlimax 2009. I'm unsure if it was a ID song at that time, or had been played prior, but it was the first time I heard it and it along with the show was just... wow. This event was also the first time I heard JDX ft Sarah Maria - Live the moment, during I believe Noisecontrollers, and that lasershow I can just close my eyes and see, some 13 years after the fact.
