I would never ever have guessed that they were from Tunesia, probably they are not allowed to play in their home country.

Thanks Ronny for this suggestion! Loving this band.

@@tuproc61 I think they are allowed to play there. Carthage is in Tunisia. Now, if you refer to AL Namrod and other Saudi bands, I'm inclined to agree.

Hi! Special thanks for the wonderful words about Bellydance! I am the dancer from this video. Very proud that I have the honor to work with Myrath. They are incredibly professional guys and your words are really nice. Thanks!

I visited Tunisia. It is a beautiful country and the people are very open to other cultures. I also had the pleasure to attend a concert years ago where Myrath were the support act for the great Symphony X. Since then they have evolved a lot. They are getting more recognized and more popular now, also because they have great sense of attractive melody and a strong positive, uplifting and hopeful lyrics / message / vibe. There is tremendous talent in this band. All musicians are on top of their game. I am looking forward to their slicghtly more mainstream album "Karma" which they will release in september 2023.

The band is from Tunisia. Carthage is in Tunisia. Carthage, of course, was where Hannibal, the great warrior was from - he being the one who invaded Rome with Elephants.

If you liked this you should definitely check "Dance" or "Endure The Silence" from the same concert! Also, for some more "arabic" oriented metal check Orphaned land.

Seen them live a bunch of times. Awesome band. Actually the last band I've seen pre-covid together with Eleine, another band I highly recommend checking out. They blew me away on the concert as I didn't know them before.

There's a definite cultural vibe here and I love it. I mean they remind me of Queensryche and Alterbridge, but that vibe makes them unique. It's just solid epic rock! Great reaction Highly

My Intro to Myrath was Forever and a Day. You may not find great live recordings of their older albums though. Braving the Seas, Sour Sigh, Merciless Times , Nobody's Lives, Desert Call. You can easily find the studio recordings of their older music.
