Well Tommy spent the last almost 8 years as one of the guitarists in a small swedish band called Sabaton (well not that small really it's counted in the big four of Power Metal). But he left early this year to do his own thing, doing covers on you tube just being a small part, well it's his way to have fun. The rest of his time is mostly devoted to his own band Majestica wich he started at the tender age of 15 (under the name Reinxeed). He also works with other artists in all sorts of ways. And I really congratuleate you guys for going down the Tiommy rabbit hole. And just a bit short about him (pun intended since he measures 6'5 in his socks) from the north of sweden (Boden to be precise) a place well above the polar circle. Born in 1987, he is a multiinstrumentalist who plays apart from guitar and piano (keyboards) also drums, bass, accordeon, flute, mouthharp, banjo....I know there are a couple more but my brain just went blank. He also films all of his videos mostly himself (sometimes his girlfriend helps out) he also edits and do all of the arrangements to the music himself and he also writes the bulk of the songs for Majestica and I think you should also stick your heads into both the Majestica rabbit hole and the Sabaton rabbit hole as well as the Tommy one to get a feel for the full extent of his talent. Thanks for the good info👍 Just a small correction. Boden is actually located just south of the polar circle. Only 0.7 degrees south of it, so it's quite an extreme northern latitude, but still.

@@niclasvestman lol Ok my bad, beeing from Värmland it seems far enough north to be above the polar circle. But now I realise I've actually been about as high as Boden but on the Norwegian side and that was below the polar circle (Mo i Rana).

@@CarinaLenita Värmland is considered subarctic where I live (Skåne) 😉 So to me both Värmland and Boden is hardcore. My dad was from Boden, but it's not for me. Wouldn't last more than one winter, max .. 🥶 Loved your info. He's one amazingly talented artist, and hella charming guy! 😎🤘

To hear both the female and male side of his voice, take a listen to Tommy in Phantom of the Opera, where he sings both parts, Christine and the Phantom. Tommy is a supertalented multi-instrumentalist, music arranger and vocalist, beside doing everything in his videos as well.

Welcome to the big rabbit hole of Tommy J. It is always great to see someone reacting to Tommy for the first time. He is an outstanding guitarist, has a voice like an angel and also plays at least 10 more instruments. He releases a new cover every friday and all of them are mindblowing. If you want to discover more of his work I highly recommend his Queen covers, She's gone (Steelheart), Alone (Heart), You raise me up (one octave higher than original!!), Waterloo, Money, Money, Money (ABBA), Empty rooms (Gary Moore - with a 4 minute guitar solo). He also has a greate sense of humor as in Cotton eye joe (Rednex), All the small things (Blink 182) or (my favorite cover) Emerald (Thin Lizzy) and he also sings in Italian (Sara perche ti amo, Una Canzone D’amore). I started listening to Tommy’s covers 1 months ago. Have listen to everything and my 10 favorites I have listened to 1 million times. She’s gone, money money, you raise me up, the phantom of the opera, anthem and a few more. You must choose at least two of the above songs for reaction😊

Until a couple of month ago he was lead guitarist in Sabaton. He has his own band, Majestica. (Try Above the sky). Since a couple of years he also do covers. He drops a new cover every friday. Try Bohemian Rhapsody or Shes gone for starters. Hes from Sweden and 35 years old (i think).

Great reaction yes this cover is one of my Tommy favorite covers he's done totally blows the original away which I would never had given more then one listen to it.but Tommy surely upgrades any song he touches.yiu need to react to you raise me up or eagle fly free a Halloween cover.itll blow you away

Doing metal covers of ABBA, Roxette and Ace Of Base was Tommy's first succuessful album in Sweden (Swedish Hitz Goes Metal) 2012.

Oh my lord....... you found the Tommy rabbit hole. 😂 Tommy recently left Sabaton to focus more on his own project. If you have a minute, check out his band Majestica, Above The Sky is something you would certainly enjoy although my fav is Alliance Forever. There's a few video on youtube when he toured with Twilight Force as well and he was bloody fantastic.

You were wondering about how his name is pronounced .. both variants you said are not entirely correct but it is to be expected .. since it’s a Swedish name and very few non Swedish speakers manage to get it right 🌹 .. and Tommy (and I doubt anyone else) mind .. he actually also goes under the name “Tommy J” 😀.. but if you want to know I found another reaction with a Swedish speaking reactor ( the video is in English) that talked about the right way to say his last name ( it’s in the beginning of the video) kzbin.info/www/bejne/bojKd6OVZ5tkm5osi=Pjvo6L2YB1YwYOOH

Hello I've seen your video about Silly fools. I would like to recommend you guys another band, Hangman. They has the same singer as Silly fools. These are my favourite of their song so far Chocolate, เพลงสีดำ(Pleng See Dum) and other. Hope you enjoy them!
