I find that sometimes if the geese are talking to you , you have to stay on the call when they spin and get excited on the call all the way to the hole. Love your videos , you are one of the best on KZbin

Long day on the ice paid off. Your decoys looked new! I think using some new or freshly flocked decoys makes a difference on late season birds. I like it when swans are around, beautiful, huge waterfowl. We get them in the Willamette valley also.

You need to learn to call better. When they passed you on the right in the video, if you would have started talking to them like they were just walking up with the sun I think they would have turned and decoied right into the wind. But of course, I am just an armchair critic. I love the red dot . Have fun, hunt safe, and enjoy as long as you can. I am 82 years old and can't get out anymore, so I love watching. Also, remember to praise God for the beauty of nature and the gift of the harvest.
