That's was so much fun to watch! A few years back, myself and two others got our 18 Mallards and Pintails in about 30 minutes. We were hunting a flooded cornfield that had thawed late season. It's incredible how one minute you're firing your first shot, and next, you're picking up your decoys and headed home with a full bag. Super duper awesome hunt, Mr Matt!

I'm fond of the 28g, but I'd add the caveat: Matt is keeping his shots close, and using premium shells. Skybusters and bargain steel-shot should probably stick with 12g.

Thanks! Not much to it. Start with big sticks for the frame. Use littler ones to fill in holes. Then use tumbleweeds as cover.
