I love how much Lucius' and Kamara(Kemara?) have improved their relationship, it shows his gradual growth from "Let's buy a ship with my inheritance so I can run away and forget it's because my family are dead" towards "I am actually the Captain. I have responsibilities and I'll do my best to live up to them." He doesn't have big story beats as often as the others, but the gradual slow burn makes his character feel very real and precious.

Ah, Thalia is always great to see, for both the ship and *ship*. Shame that the secret basement secret keeps getting leaked over and over again, at this rate you're gonna need modify memory to keep this under wraps. Aila as always with barbarian might and sassy quips, truly a spectacle. Same for sentry, with her summoning the glorious steed in the sky and the heartwarming guardian restoration, I certainly hope that the race will be saved. Qillek's hastiness was certainly, well, impressive yet dangerous, thank gods for Nova. I do hope for the ship, this duo's dynamics are always fun to watch. Lucious be getting more in tune with his crew, I always love, if all else fails, just go on a world cruise or something.

It DOES stack with a saving throw success however. So it would've been halved twice, not three times. Obviously who cares and it was just an in-the-moment thing, but for reference

His teleportation cicle is for when they go to Horizon for the meeting with the important Aerois people. This is for the Cloud/Wind Baron weapon workshop.

Does... Does no one understand how Teleportation Circle works? They're not, like, matching pairs or something. The sigil sequence is the only thing that matters. As long as you have the ability to cast the spell, and you know the sigil sequence of a specific, permanent circle, you can teleport there from LITERALLY anywhere. It takes one minute to cast, as you physically draw a temporary circle on the ground with, like, magic chalk or something, and then you "key in" the sigil sequence, linking your temporary portal to a permanent one.

Just because the Prince offers them his full support doesn't mean they have access to that Circle any old time they please. The other bit is that they are going to Horizon by TC not that it's on the grounds necessarily or that they even know where it is without further inquiry. The real problem is that Tom hasn't really used it or read the damn thing. He appears to have just assumed it's some kind of secret access route. So it's basically an assumption regarding something that he doesn't know that he doesn't know. The focus on the McGroner estate is just a silly little fiasco. And I wish Mark had stepped in to correct the false assumption instead of just letting it remain a bonkers off the wall thing. Granted it is pretty funny but it isn't very productive.

While I am up to date with critical role, I do agree. Personally, High rollers is my favorite dnd show, and that probably is because it's the perfect balance of quality while retaining that spark that makes it feel... genuine? Like a shared experience? I don't know the proper word to describe it. For the CR players and Matt it of course is genuine, it is still their home game and they still seem to enjoy it, but I guess... Critical role feels like going to watch the newly aired episode of some high budget and well liked netflix show, this feels like actually sitting and playing some dnd with friends. Both are still good, but when it comes to dnd and what I'd rather watch/do, High Rollers is the one I choose

Absent minded intellectual. She's nitpicking from the frame of reference of an engineer not simply critiquing his artistry. It was meant to be a joke. I agreed that she's entirely wrong about the physics but that's Kim not understanding those principles and thus unable to do Nova's pool of knowledge justice. As to the introduction of airships to the discussion that seems a non-sequitur to me. She's talking about the prosthetic wings that she designed and built. There might be issues creating an entire flight rig for a race devoid of the anatomy to use them properly. Though the weight issue is doubly irrelevant. Not only did she not understand gravity provides force and speed regardless of the inherent mass. But also that a key component was air elemental essence to make Quill's harness light as air anyway.

I know this is an old video, but technically speaking, a permanent teleportation circle has a unique sigil sequence that, if you know it, allows you to teleport to it. The way Mark described Quill's vision implies that the teleportation circle he saw was the one in the manor, but the sigil sequence it showed was the one linked to the aetherium plant. Tom, as he usually does, had a single thought that he didn't bother to question and pursued it until Mark put a stop to it. There was no logical reason to fly to the estate and no, they don't technically need to go to the circle in the estate to get to the plant so long as they or somebody they know can cast either teleport or teleportation circle. If they don't have a method of casting those spells themselves, then they would need to go to the estate as that circle is presumably linked to the plant.

I think it's more like a Sentry buff. Normally the spell summons them permanently, but i think they rolled it into an echo upgrade and have her able to desummon and resummon at will. Think of it like she cast the spell beforehand and then brings echo into place in steed form as an action.
