$5 Chuck Kline! So much personality. All day! You have a lot of patience diving into those dumpsters. Looks like it paid off. Thx for sharing.

$5 Chuck Kline was the winner for sure, even in its haggard condition.

Happy to see you rescued Goudey Klein! I recently rescued a beaten and frail 1934 Goudey card of a common player.

Walt Whitman goes to a card show. I love it. The signature style sets you apart for sure.

You have a great perspective on card collecting. You collect what you want and don't worry about the high dollar values,.... much like myself. It can be hard to stay within a budget sometimes, but it is a must. I always enjoy the search through the bargain bins.

I've got some high $$ stuff, too, but I'm just as happy with a dime box as I am with 10s.

The best cards are typically the ones you have to search for. Great way to work that show!

Man, I'd root through those dime boxes. That was a sad Carlton card, but the Chuck Klein was the best!

I appreciate the notion. Slow and steady growth. Emphasis on the slow, but steady nonetheless.

Hey....he's not a winey baby - that's my PC guy!!!!! I'l forgive you.....✌. Thanks for the video!!!!

Ha, he's a whiny baby. Throws a tantrum for every strike out. Bregman isn't an upgrade at 3B, so he stays. 🤣

I admire your taste in wines. I also have felt that the 1988 Carlton is poignant, and it gave me some pangs of emotion after that fabled career. Seems I've heard "wallow in my own crapulence" on The Simpsons - bravo for the reference! I have to grin that you're lucky enough to consider that a small show. El Paso County is only beginning to stir with renewed shows. I ventured to a REALLY small show yesterday. But it was overloaded with Pokémon and modern glitz, and most merch had no posted prices -- even for fun packs from the 1980s and the early 1990s which might have piqued my enjoyment. So I took the short drive home. We shall see what the future holds.

Mr. Burns was the first to wallow in his own crapulence. This show was about 75-ish dealers.

ANY '33 Goudey is a great deal at $5...not to mention a Hall-of-Famer. That '67 Jim Kaat for a dime was another steal. It sure would be fascinating to see what that '82 Fleer Seaver goes for in 2082. Great video. New subscriber here.

Welcome to the channel! I'm glad you're here and hope to live up to your sub. I'm still pumped about the Kline. I have one already (detailed in a previous vid) but very happy to have a second!

Love the Klein. If that was $30 I would have bought it, nevermind $5

Great commentary ... fun to listen in!!!!! (In the spirit of the political debate season -- fact checking -- that last card of Carlton was a 1988 Fleer, not 1989. )

Marchan needs to be the backup for 2025 and they need to get rid of that idiot Stubbs.

I think Stubbs won't get a contract, and Marchan is the new backup.

I wonder if you took the prospect autos you bought for $1 back to the first dealer as further explanation for why you’re not paying $50 for his card. That Klein card is awesome. I would have fallen over myself getting the $5 out of my wallet for that.
@PhilliesBaseballCards21 сағат бұрын
I should have done that! $1 rookie autos for guys that actually made it to The Show really puts into perspective $50 for a kid in A ball.
