I think the toughest thing with deals (especially this 1st one) is it's not the dealer's job to get you the cards at a price that you still have room to resell them. (if that makes sense) and that's where I think deals fall apart all the time. Just have to find prices that are fair all the way around. (thats tough to do sometimes)

I don’t know how much it helps their negotiating when they are “assuming” how many cards are in a box when they are basing their asking number on a per-card price structure? What if there are actually 779 cards and not 1,000? I would think that number needs to be definitively ascertained “IF” you are basing your thinking, pricing and offering around that variable being a real and exact number. Which it can’t e unless you know what that actual number is. Like I’ll sell you for .50 cents a card if you wanna believe there’s 8000 cards when there are really actually 4300. This way of doing it seems problematic, unless they have their own reasons and ways for doing that in their negotiation process that benefits their approach, which only they would know how it does.

Someone wanna explain to an outsider what is collectible about sports cards? Talking about anything made in 2020 and up. Sure you might love a certain team or player, but the collectibility seems limited to me with foils that are supposed to make you go ow its foil thats special. The Artworks are very generic and not appealing

how do dealers at shows have $10/card boxes and not AT LEAST have them in penny sleeves???........there is no shot i will be bidding on those cards in whatnot knowing they have been flipped through unprotected...........also, how do you even know you made "Huge PROFIT"? you haven't even sold them yet......all these big card streamers claiming all this profit yet i have yet to see an actual breakdown of the net profit(loss) from any of the videos that are ALWAYS made claiming profit.

@@danielginsburg9558 There are VERY few late 80s/ early 90s baseball cards worth anything. Even if you get them for a penny a card you overpaid. I know a guy with a literal entire garage of 90 Fleer and 89 Donruss... stuff like that. The cardboard is worth more than the card itself lol. Total overprinted junk. Rarity = value, when companies start to overproduce, you bail as a collector. That's what tanked prices this last time. Interest came back so the card companies got greedy like they always do and way overprinted. Time to exit until they come back to their senses and give us that ultra rarity we want. I'm at the 10 minute mark. Walk away from these guys. Every card that is added in only makes it fractionally better for you but allows them to offload those first two boxes which were overpriced for reselling. The first box was pure junk. 1stBowman non-auto cards do not sell well if it's a dud name. Heck most 1stBowman autos from 2023 Bowman chrome go for $2-$4 on comc and those guys are active and on hobby relevant teams. I suspect what was in that first box may have included guys who have already been released and thus the card should be literally $0.00. It would be interesting to know how that lot went on watnot.
