@@benedicttetteh1575 firstly, the mindset. Our students are somehow thought to shy away from asking deep questions and just go with the flow. Mind you, this starts from home. This somehow gets the students mindset to shy away when asked deeper questions or never learn to present themselves publicly Secondly, the schools just teaches the students to just chew and pour without any self-made ideas generated from those students. Not all school though but look at the TTI guys, I went to TTI and i must say I laughed harder than ever. See the porters girls. They were confident but the tadisco girl was caught off guard and never recovered.

You did well with your reply. I must agree it starts from home, because I was in a class in SHS where about almost 95% of the students shy from asking teachers questions even after the teacher finished teaching and asks do you have any question more than 10 times . It starts straight from home and it’s the Ghanaian mentality that “once a child speaks up their mind they don’t respect”. Also, one observation I made was that the girls were quite confident in expressing themselves than the guys in this video and I think that’s because the Host was a girl . Most young guys not only in Ghana but the world fear talking to ladies . Lastly, I have to say this but the BL3333, lol we should learn to express ourselves more in English not only the Twi. Should have the host switch language to Twi you would have seen how the conversation would be different and more engaging. Chaley my people should speak English in schools with their friends rather than the Pidgin or local language . Why don’t you want to travel someday and meet Americans and the English , Please the English is important.
