I am unable to delete the false peaks. Pressing the delete button by placing the cursor on the data marker does not work for me. What else can I do?

Thank you for your question! When you try what you described, is the peak list tab active in the middle panel? If it is open and you are still unable to delete peaks in the way you described, you can either (1) left click the peak in the peak list and hit delete on your keyboard or (2) right click the peak in the peak list and choose an option to delete it (or it may be called remove peak, I'm not sure). I'm not at my work computer right now, so I can't describe the process perfectly. Let me know if this doesn't work for you, and I can give you more details on Monday.

Dear Dr. I face an issue in the matched patterns' cards that I found that after the search and match, when I try to save, they are saved but without the peak list (hkl) in the PDF file after saving it. I do not know why this issue appeared nearly. I hope you reply. Thank you.

That is interesting. To make sure I understand correctly, you are double clicking on the candidate file, click the save button, and then save as a PDF. When do you do this, there is no peak list (2theta position, hkl, relative intensity, etc.) in the PDF file. Correct? If so, here are some thoughts/questions... (1) Have you tried saving it as a .rtf file? I doubt that would produce different results, but it is worth a try. (2) What database are you getting your candidate files from? For example, I use the PDF-4+ database. If your database has its own software that you can use to search for the candidate files, you can try saving the file from that software.

what is the difference between the same video of shorter vs longer version? Is it software version's difference or video's details?

Just the video details. I cut out some basic steps in the short version. I figured the long version is good for first time viewing. If you need a refresher but understand some of the basics, the short version will save some time.

Hello, New to Diffraction!. When i try to adjust the difference plot, and choose the default fit, i get a prompt saying no structural data for refinement. I presume that the profile fits are generated by the user. How do i do that? Thanks
