Interesting that this is called a “coastal” route. Technically, a “coast” exists at the edge of a continent (the East Coast, the West Coast). For inland non-linear bodies of water, the proper term is “shore.” (If it’s a river, creek, stream, etc., then it would be a “bank.”) At least that’s true in the US-perhaps things are different up North!

Funny how they call this the Georgian Bay Route but the beginning of this journey is literally the only time you ever get to see it from the highway! 😂
