I got you. But I'm saying that its just dirt from outside. When I brought it inside, it was mud. I formed it as mud, then gave it a week or so to dry out. And that is what you see in the stopmotion

Oh ok. This dio is made out of dirt from a local pit. If he wants to just get started though, brown sugar should work fine. There is no pavement in this dio yet, but when there is, it will be made from poster board, painted black, and with the yellow stripes added. Also, those barrels are there to keep equipment from accidentally going into the ditch and they are made out of wooden dowels, with washers for a base

in your dio you have the orange barrels on what looks like a road. If it is what did you use to make the pavement? I am sure its not real pavement. If its not a road what are they on and why? IDK how to explain my self any better. My son (8years) wants to start stop motions and I want to know what people use for parts. I know flower is good for snow brown sugar for dirt.

No the ground looks like a road the black part the trucks are driving on what is that made of. This is all i want to know. I cant explain it more then the ground or road the stuff that looks like road way (pavement).

Make your own stop motion then say other peoples suck. You must these can be made in an hour. These take days to make. If you dont like this then theres nothing to like about anyones elses. There all the same, equipment moving and doing tasks. Not to mention the time it takes to make the scene. The mud alone took a week to dry Cat345ME said.
