I saw them in 1979 on Highway to Hell Tour. I was lucky. The ticket said Ted Nugent and special guest. Turned out the special guest was AC⚡DC. They blew the roof off of that place!🎸🎸🎸🎶🎵🎼

Gives a whole new appreciation of the technicality of the song. Fans hear the whole song but a lead guitarist hears and plays something different as does a bassist as does a drummer. Thank for the this enlightenment.

Exactly. I think guitar teachers should throw students a bone right off the bat and then get into the courses. My first guitar lesson I asked my teacher to teach me Smoke on the Water. He laughed and 6 weeks in I was still learning Shoe Fly. I quit after that.

I've seen AC/DC lots of times, with Brian Johnson, lead Singer. But right after Bon Scott passed. They Did a Tribute to AC/DC in the Fox Theater in Atlanta, I went to. They showed a AC/DC Concert on the Big Screen, and Cranked Up the Volume, It was like seeing AC/DC Old School, It Was GREAT!!

Justin I have been fortunate enough to see AC/DC twice in my 45 year life. The first show was in 1974 (I was 5 years old) and was, of course, the '74 Jailbreak tour. The second was their Thunderstruck tour (at the now demolished Market Square Arena in Indianapolis, Indiana). I was totally mesmerized by Angus Youngs' talent and his outgrown school uniform. He was definately the main focus of each show with his stage antics and ability to absolutely shred on the guitar while climbing bass bins and stomping across stage. I always had great seats and backstage passes (due to being related to people everyone wanted on their guest list). I will try to dig out the old photo albums and send you some pictures (ones suitable for enlarging and framing). Nobody, in my opinion, should not have some sort of AC/DC concert memorabilia! I will get back to you when I find the correct album....OH, the fingernail thing, we discussed about 2 weeks ago, works great....who would have thought...lol In music, Randy G.

Received my Vox VT40X amp Thursday, my sg g-400 pro arrived Friday. Been practising this and Thunder Struck every spare moment. Got to say I'm loving both the guitar and amp. I haven't quite figured out all the VT40X settings yet but by accident I stumbled upon a near identical sound to Angus's Highway to Hell style. Really happy with this combo.

Great lesson Justin, regards regrets, tell me about it? When I was 15 years old in 1979, my dad wouldn't buy me a ticket to see Bob Marley and the Wailers perform at Festival Hall, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. my best mate went and saw the concert with his older sister and brothers. I had to wait till we were back at school Monday morning for him to tell me how it went. He said there were several policemen guarding in front of the stage standing stockstill with their arms crossed. There was so much Ganja smoke drifting around Festival Hall that the coppers started breathing it in and after awhile they started to move side to side to the music with grins on their faces. Bob on stage pulled out a Spliff hidden inside his dreadlocks and lit it to the delight of the crowd. Talk about crowd interaction!!!! Thats my regret, i didn't save up for a ticket.

The way you showed that Angus played that hybrid chord was correct the second way you played it (the original way you thought he did). I saw some clips of him playing it that way many years ago so your initial thought was correct. He has probably changed the way he plays it over the years but I'm 100% certain that's the way he use to play it.
