Tinolang manok is a dish served in birthdays during the old spanish era in the philippines. Its also served to people who are sick. Makes them recover fast.

That's true. When we're kids, whenever we are sick, my mother always cook chicken tinola because that is so nutritious. We can easily recover and regain our energy. Another one is beef nilaga, another nutritious food from Phils. Good job Mommy Joy!
