Stumbled across this song, and got addicted to this band by listening to this song over and over and trying to figure out the rhythmic patterns.

Can we stop with the Tool comparisons ? Yeah, they have a very, very similar sound but aren't they allowed to play like that ? It's like saying Airbourne is an AC/DC clone because they play overdriven hard rock. Progressive psychedelic metal isn't a Tool trademark, they just perfected it to a point where when people hear something like it elsewhere they think its copying Tool. Besides, if you like Tool that much, shouldn't you be glad other bands are joining that genre of music ? I like both bands, btw.

Got recommended this song after listening a bunch of APC and Tool. Loved them ever since and decided to check out how do they perform live out of curiosity... The a capella part left me shivering. it's just a whole another level.

I really like this band, but if you dont see a really big similiraty between this record and tool then you dont have much musical ear...

No time, not enough cash to live off this band. He's a pro musician and needs a band to pay the bills.

Steve bounces from band to band a lot. It's not surprising that he left Soen. It's unfortunate, but it's how Steve seems to roll.

They are trying to get Steve DiGiorgio to tour with them, but the problem is that they need to make money for the travel expenses and such things, since he's in America and the rest are in Sweden / touring Europe. They have to rely on local bassist for now.

Also, Steve's main job IS music. That's why he's with Testament right now.

They didn't . They might sound alike but they didn't copied anything from Tool. No reason to do so.
