Another awesome guide! People always want to know "who's better?", but Yii explains why that's the wrong question. We should be asking "what unique perks does each operator have, and which niche do the excel in?". Platiplat best sniper btw.

Another thing about Ash is that she doesn't stun everything in her range or anything that comes into her range after her skill is used. So she's excellent at taking out a single target or a tightly clustered group of targets, while exu can mow down a whole wave of enemies that are trickling in. Ash also can totally wiff her stun grenade due to targeting woes. They also want to be enhanced in somewhat different ways. Ash most easily synergizes with someone with a stun so she can extend her bonus to the full skill duration. Whereas Exu wants atk boosters and def shredders more (not that ash would say no to those either). Ash has also the big strength/weakness that her skill is a lot shorter overall. Great for blasting one enemy away instantly. Much worse for dealing with multiple enemies coming in over time, much better again at dealing with enemies showing up in moderate intervals so she can have her skill up in time between them.

True. Ash and Blitz were a GREAT combo for me during the under tides event. Being able to stun and kill the Crawlers before they even get a chance to do their AoE attack (at only E1 lvl60) was just perfect. and if you have Blitz, or any operator that can stun enemies, you can essentially make sure that her enemies are stunned long enough for her to empty her S2 ammo.

I feel you, I have had several 0 sanity moments when Ash used her stun grenade on the wrong target. However, the stun can also be very usefull to stall stronger enemies or prevent damage from ranged units or those rock crab thingies from the last event.

Ash ironically synergizes well with W. If Ash's S2 and W's S3 are procced at the same time, W's bombs will dotonate as soon as Ash's flashbang stun ends thereby allowing Ash to maximize her stun bonus. As W's trait insult provides bonus damage to stunned enemies.

Depending on how you look at it it's not even necessarily wrong. Sure she doesn't have incredible dps although it's not bad, not at all, but if you're looking for the overall best performance, she is the the best rapid fire sniper out there, because she's the most consistent, there's practically nothing she can't do at least decently.

There's a reason everyone calls Archetto "Red Blue Poison". Nobody gives these 100% uptime skills as much credit as they deserve. It's always about the flashy redhead setting herself on fire and killing herself.

Something useful I found about Archetto is in IS she pairs quite well with items that boost attack for a second after skill activation. Since a lot of snipers have skills that boil down to "every 5 or so shots your next attack does bigger damage" (Kroos, Jessica skill 1, BP skill 1, Exia skill 1, etc) her giving passive SP means their low SP skills come up even faster and after any short periods of downtime where your archers aren't shooting, they'll have their skill ready so the next enemy to step into their line of fire takes quite a blow. It's not the most game changing thing (having fatal bolts: divine speed already makes those items quite funny) but it's a neat little piece of utility she provides

She can attack like 30 times in 2 seconds or so with her S3 + couple of ASPD buffs (Aak, Elysium) and her S3 lasts for 15 seconds. Combine that with her doing 1.4k damage for each attack when buffed by Warfarin or Skalter, her DPS is absurd when she has the support. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think she's still the one with the highest DPS in the game even after this two years. (Not including Chalter). And I think people just do exu buff army videos because it's very satisfying. You can melt bosses in like 2 seconds or so.

@@crash5197 Actually, Exusiai has a really low ATK scale modifier (110% S3M3, 125% S2M3). It's Ash who has absurdly high ATK scale modifier, which is why she does a lot better against very high DEF enemies in ranges where even a fully-buffed Exu will do noticeably lower damage (e.g. Patriot). What makes Exusiai better most of the time tho is that she utilizes the buff duration better than Ash, which usually equates to higher dps output for the whole buff duration, especially against lower DEF enemies (most enemies, even bosses, don't really have high DEF) or high HP pool enemies that don't go down from a single Ash S2.

I believe this is because each of Exu's S3 barrages are technically 5 separate attacks. This gives her multiplicative benefits from attack buffs or def shredding. For example, say a buff gave +100 attack. Each Exu S3 barrage would effectively be +500 dmg due to it being 5 attacks. Her S3 has significant duration so this will add up quickly.

Delete him before the 3rd sentinel can become a problem, then drop Phantom + Clone for more bonus Ash damage to kill 3rd sentinel's 1st life, and buy time.

third skill for Ash should be : Ash Mains Pride active - asp +200, 1 tap headshot (if shooting ground target, instant kill like on r6s) passive talent -small head hitbox and lean crouch spam. Ash might evade incoming arts/phys damage by 50% like in r6s. and couple month later Ash got nerfed they took my ACOG : accuracy -100, asp -50 (weapon changed to G36) lean and crouch spam nerf : ash lost her evade but keeps her smaller head hitbox which mean 25% evade chance this is might be the most accurate skill representation for Ash based on r6s

To be honest you only need Exu and Ash as anti-air snipers, Archetto is really not necessary. If you need an extra longer range to hit specific farther target I'll just use Rosa or other sniper with longer range.

The issue with that is it sometimes doesnt work because of targt priority. For what its worth I have all of them and can tell you that I've had situations where Archetto was a better fit because of Multiple targets whos priority was messed up for Rosa so she shot the wrong things.

Ash's stun also causes those walking stone crabs from the Under Tide event to not do their explode when hurt effect, making Ash the single best Op for shutting those down completely. On that UT annihilation, Watery Tide Hollow I think?, Ash and Ifrit were the 1-2 punch who duo's the entire right half of the map. Ash's S2 was so useful that even took out that annoying ass Elite who came out at wave 384. Single handedly shut that whole lane down. So very glad I was playing during and prepared to go all in on her limited banner.

Yeah, they shine on stages without drones, very ironic for snipers. However, Rosmontis in particular can outperform most AOE snipers if there are no drones though and the S3 is perfect for stalling, it has saved me in a few scuffed runs.

Other non-limited ops and the next one (Flametail) at least have something in their kit that makes them shine or is even generally stronger than the limited, but Mizuki is just too mediocre. And people are also angry for lore reason, as she's literally just beach Ch'en and thus not worthy of getting her own alter about that. And finally, they are worried that a summer banner means it will be a new regular pool, like Anniv and CNY. This also broke HG's promise in the 1.5 anni about having only certain amounts of limited banners a year. So overall, the critics see her as a cheap cashgrab op

Ash also has more burst damage than Exu, since she unloads all her clips VERY quickly. I would even say she has the highest burst damage out of any Snipers, on most enemies, even more than brokenly OP Squirtle Chen. i still don't get how Exu is compared against Archetto and/or Ash. Platinum is also an AA Sniper, but people don't compare her as often to same-rarity operators like Blue Poison or Greythroat. You don't see as much people see Toddifons as a "Budget-Rosa". Thorns vs Silverash isn't as hot as Exu vs Ash, despite both being high-damage Guards who can deal Arts damage and hit aerial enemies on an extended range. People know and see the differences between those operators, but the capability to see such differences decreases when it's the 6-star AA Snipers XD . but that's probably just me lol

For Platinum's case, she just... Do thing different than other AA sniper. Instead of relying on multihit and burst, Platinum opts for high Atk Buff and consistency. No other AA sniper really do the same thing as Platinum so no one really ever try comparing her with other conventional AA snipers.
