@@redcobra9588 Well, Sesa's schtick is attacking stationary blocked enemies, not moving enemies, as evidenced by his talent only working on Blocked Enemies. Sesa is an Operator that has a particularly non-flexible niche, as using him outside of his intended strat tends to be sub-optimal.

The reason the heart thingy got removed after an edit was made is to save the content creator from slander. For example, after obtaining the heart the commenter can edit the comments into something racist and making the content creator seems like an asshole. Probably one of the most thoughtful thing KZbin ever done to content creator.

as much as I understand that Chalter aint healthy for the game for a new player she is a heavens blessing. Missing an art aoe caster? Chalter. Need some aoe slow with a debuff? SLAPPED. The downside is that I am trying to solve everything with Chalter, thus receiving the brain damage.

I don't like the Schwarz vs Fartooth debate. Sure they have a similar S3 but they couldn't be further apart with their archetypes. Fartooth is a long range sniper or deadeye with the new classification, meaning she has a wide range, slow as fuck attack speed, super duper high attack and the unique trait of focusing the lowest def enemies. Add to that the abysmal 20s uptime on her S3 and you have a problem. Fartooth is really hard to set up compared to Schwarz, she hits slower, for a shorter amount of time, AND she can miss her target if a snail comes in the lane. I'm not saying the skill is unusable, far from it, the video already proved me wrong, but if we're talking about Fartooth's niche, I would rather talk about her first 2 skills and especially the S1 because, although simple, it gives a deadeye sniper everything it needs to function better, a significant 45% attack and attack speed buff for... 35s I think? With 50% uptime. That makes her hit for over 2k dmg with the same attack speed as a close range sniper like Schwarz and a much wider range. The S2 on the other hand gives her the unique ability to support dps far from her initial range with a fat 110 attack speed boost, very niche but cool and easier to set up than the S3.

So, I have been trying to do more 4* based teams and have been looking at Aciddrop. Everyone keeps telling me just to use Schwarze since I have her, but I really don't want to invest in higher star characters since I'm still fairly early-ish and I feel like they're ignoring her "always do at least X damage on enemies in front of her, no matter their defense" talent

While she can't punch through enemies like Schwarz, Aciddrop's talent has some niche uses against enemies like the shielded archers last CC or first phase Patriot. Once you get a fair number of E2s though, I'd recommend Schwarz S3 for that guaranteed defense debuff and heavy-hitting damage.

Ultimately invest in what you want in the game. As for why people recommend Schwarz over Aciddrop, it's because Schwarz hits a lot harder and is able to blow through bosses much faster than Aciddrop. Aciddrop has consistent damage because she always hits for a minimum amount, which is great. Schwarz has consistent damage because she hits like a freaking truck and almost nothing had enough defense to resist her damage output. Aciddrop is very cool though, and I have seen some neat strategies with her. They tend to focus around slowly whittling down enemies, rather than blowing them away all at once.

@@disintegratedstrategist To be fair the only way to realistically stop Schwarz from dealing damage is to stack damage reduction like the boss of the Originium Dust event. Hitting for over 3k dmg coupled with a 20% defense debuff means you would need something like 4000 def to completely negate her, and such an absurd def value isn't gonna happen because the amount of operators besides Schwarz that can pierce that much def can be counted on one hand.

@@disintegratedstrategist I know, I was one of them, I love playing Schwarz, and it's true that she could deal damage to that boss but only depending on its phase, if I remember correctly the thing had 90% dmg reduction on its left side in 1st phase, then right side in 2nd phase and then 90% global once the 3rd phase kicked in. So yeah, I used Schwarz to down the boss but once it had its reduction I couldn't scratch it anymore.
