2 things I forgor Manfred pathing: it's decently long. That's pretty much all you need to know Wait-for-kill: This basically means after a certain enemy that spawns, no more enemies will continue spawning until all the enemies on the map die or Manfred is out of Phase 1. If you get Manfred out of Phase 1 before the wait-for-kill enemy spawns, no enemies will spawn until all the enemies on the map die. This means you don't have to deal with Manfred with the 2nd wave of enemies that spawn. There's a strat in higher risk that involving Skalter S1, Nightingale's Cage, and Liskarm. The Cage baits Manfred attack, eternally stalling him, Skalter S1 heals the cage, Liskarm on the vent tiles(sus) charging SP for Skalter, and fast-redeploy operator to bait the cannon on Manfred repetitively until it killed him.

Hoshiguma talent can actually work on true damage despite the description stating that it only works on arts and physical damage because why not. She can be used for laneholding if you want to add a 3/4 chance of loosing to your run

Then I saw a certain AFK risk 18 video on KZbin that use Hoshi with Shining as healer to block half of enemies on right side + Mansfed and use cannon to kill everyone I don't think that's 3/4 chance to lose

@@halley_lu As do a lot of supportive summons. Skalter's Seaborn, Silence's drone, Shamare's doll, Weedy's canon, Pozemka's typewriter are all essentially indestructible. The catch of course is that they only last a fixed amount of time as opposed to having an actual HP bar.

The timing is the same as retreating. It is pretty tight. S3 make her block 0 so too early and the canon will switch target. If her shield is up you can just let it hit her thou.

So I just tried the stage and apparently while damage reduction defense and shields dont do anything, damage nullification does, I got Hoshiguma trigger her passive that just nullified the damage from a canon shot, which even if she gets hit by, she survives.

Mandatory might be too strict. It largely depends on the operator and the content. CC is some of the hardest, if not THE hardest, content in Arknights so masteries will surely make your life (much) easier. If you cannot be bothered to tackle CC R18 by yourself (e.g. time, stress, or whatever), look around for guides (e.g. low-star guides or other strategies) and see what you're missing specifically.
